Keeping a dream journal is a good way,but that only helps if you can force yourself to get up and write them down RIGHT AWAY after you wake up from one. The first time i did this, something must have clicked inside me telling me to wake up after each dream, because i didnt even have to try but i woke up literally EVERY hour after having another one. I'd write it down, and by morning i had about 4-6 dreams written down. I was exhausted, but i did that for 3 or 4 days straight until i just decided i had to get a decents night sleep and i quit writing them down. But i still (to this day) at least lay there awake for a bit and try to replay them in my head before falling back asleep...i go through the whole thing a few times and then i'll allow myself to fall back asleep, and then i'll just write them down in the morning, whichever ones stuck out as noteworthy. I dont do this every night,i dont even have that interesting of dreams more than once or twice a week.
