What good can a psychic reading do to one's life?

I read my horoscopes and numerology report timely so I feel sort of enlightened and feel relaxed because it give my positive outlook in life.

Is that some sort of self-denial or can they really help a person's way of thinking?

I think they are a tool, which can be accurate or inaccurate, useful or useless, depending on how you use them. So it comes down to how you treat them.

I like reading them just to see how accurate they are, and they are often quite accurate, but only when they are specific does it count.

One way they can be helpful is if they are positive, then you feel good and get a quick upper. The day goes smoother because of your outlook as much as your horoscope.

The other way, if it's negative in quality then you can use it to be cautious. Not guarded, but just aware of what the day's going to bring. Then you are ready for it and more able to handle whatever happens.

Either way, the day ends up being better, just from the shift in attitude.

Even better would be talking to someone wise who could give you personalized advice, if you need it. But it still depends on you.
