speaking unknown language during "bonding" experience with a friend

This was so weird. I thought this kind of thing was something that ultra Christians made up to validate their experiences but I just experienced it for my self.

So I was "bonding" with a friend when all of a sudden I started to feel like I couldn't speak. My tongue felt weird in my mouth and I started to feel like I couldn't form words. I started making odd language-like sounds then all of a sudden these words started flowing from my mouth.

I felt so much emotion as I was speaking. I felt this great sadness but also great relief. I didn't understand the sounds but my mind knew the words. It was very, very out there...

I was overcome with so many feelings at once. It didn't feel like it was me from here, but it felt like me from somewhere long ago...

My mind knew that I knew her before, had lost her and was no so overjoyed to have found her again.

Has anyone else had experience with speaking words/sounds you don't know?

It could have been sounds that seemed like language. I don't really know but there were repeating sentences so it might have been genuine. My logic tells me one thing but my intuition tells me another.

Maybe it was just because of the intimate moment...

Deep down it felt like past life memories.

It felt like me not another spirit I am certain of that. It is just tough sometimes to go against our conditioned logic which tries to rationalize everything.

I felt like I knew her before but we were separated and now we are back together.

It was like in that moment I remembered what had happened and I felt so relieved to have found her. As I was remembering all the emotions of our time before came flooding back to me....

Sounds weird but that's what I felt right after the experience. Without all the self-doubt and logic coming into play.

It's sounds beautiful. Why search for a logical, rational explanation? All that will do diminish the emotions felt. Appreciate what happened, you opened the door the the right side of your brain, don't try and shut it!

Yes we've talked about it. We're both extremely attracted to one another. We have a very strong connection on almost all levels of compatability.

However I think this experience stemmed from our mental/emotional/spiritual connection.

My only qualm about our connection is that we're not the most physically compatible. I'm very athletic with lots of stamina and right now she isn't in her best shape and tends to tire quicker than I do. Also, our physical structures don't match too well. She is a bit on the shallow side for me.

But those are so very small things in comparison to all the other characteristics that we'll probably never find again. We both care very deeply for each other.

I wonder how the human brain is able to unlock these memories from the distant past.

i wonder how the soul connects to the brain... it is rather a soul memory than a brain memory because I could feel my brain changing processes. It did not feel like regular speech.

do transpersonal/humanistic psychologists study the link between the soul and human experience in relation to the being itself?

these are some of the areas that i feel psychology is extremely lacking in.

now it seems that everything is explained away as strictly a chemical imbalance and every process is seperate from the soul. They have yet to incorporate all systems of the human being into it's proper context.

pisses me off... we lack great knowledge in the mainstream that would help advance humanity but all psychiatrists are doing is trying to shove pills down people's throats. total disregard for the entirety of the human condition.

She's had psychic experiences on and off her whole life and so have I so it wasn't that big a deal I guess. She seemed happy and she acknowledged it.

I guess once you experience high-level telekinesis and remote viewing someone speaking some unknown language to you doesn't register as highly on your scale of metaphysical oddity.

We have a pretty strong telepathic connnection forming so it seemed pretty logical when placed in the context of our relationship.

I was wonder about the physical, scientific process that occurred... biologically I mean.

Seo1 - During a Journey, I once connected with my deceased father and older brother. I knew them instantly; who they were, and our relationship to one another.

Here's the thing, though: My Father is still alive in this world and I'm an only child (at least with my own mother & father).

So, the only explanation is that these were a Father and Older Brother from a different life.

I had something like this happen almost a decade ago. My voicebox did something very odd and I spoke in 3 tones simultaneously. During that time some of what I would say would split into each voice and then all back to the same words on 3 tones. I can't remember what was said and neither did my partner at the time as it was so startling and it didn't seem to be in a human language we could understand but it lasted for a good minute or so.

The emotions running through that event were so very wild however; I felt free and alive like I had just taken a big breath of air.

Haven't had anything like it since.

I'm also prone to talking in my sleep in other languages. Some have heard me talk in Spanish or Japanese while others couldn't even guess at the language I was speaking in, only that it sounded very beautiful and that I was talking to someone else.

I'm not fluent in any language other than English but I know a smattering of many languages. I've even dreamed in Sign Language before. 0.0

So no, you're not alone. There are people on these forums who are just as weird as you.

The Human vocal chords are actually bands of connective tissue that vibrate as air is passed between them. Most people only pass air through a single slit in those bands. However, it is quite possible to pass air between multiple bands and thus have as many as four or five "notes" produced simultaneously. Some Buddhist Monks train for years to be able to make the Ohm a "chord" in their chanting. I know one such individual who can do so. It's very "weird" to hear three different tones coming out of the same throat.
