Dream of meeting with a panel of guides to discuss...

i had this extremely vivid dream where myself and my ex were meeting with a panel of higher guides to discuss where we were supposed to make our relationship go, and to answer for the things we'd done to each other. i woke up feeling extremely chastised and rather ashamed of myself! i remember a room almost like something in a roman temple or something, with the higher guides (chaired by an african man in coloured robes) all sitting behind a long, dark wooden table. my ex and i sat in front of them in high backed, velvet upholstered chairs. i remember feeling his vibration was one of rebellion and a little resentment that he'd been called to account for how we'd been treating each other. the room was circular, and had sort of shadowy misting around the edges (i could sense other spirits there, probably our direct guides, there for support) and there was no ceiling - either i couldn't see it because the area above our heads had rolling mist also or because there was no ceiling....

has anyone else experienced anything like this? i'm sort of in the vein of thought that it wasn't actually a dream, but an actual experience of meeting them.

Years ago, in my mid-twenties I had a vivid dream where I was sitting in a chair next to a desk. Another man sat at the desk...it was like a job interview setting. Everything was dark, except where we were sitting which was bathed in light (although the man's face was not revealed). The only part of the conversation I remember is his telling me, "Sorry, you're not quite ready yet." There was no judgement in his tone, no recrimination...just that I wasn't quite ready for whatever it was I wanted to do. The fact that I remember this after all these years to me means that it was very significant. I am hoping to repeat that interview soon, hopefully with a different result.

I have a younger friend who dreamed he found himself walking down a road with a woman...they came upon a stone building - he thought it looked like a library or temple. He wanted to go in, but she told him he wasn't ready yet as well.

Anyhow, I think these vivid types of dreams are important messages and you'll do well to let it ferment a bit and not jump to conclusions as to its meaning. As to whether you want to consider it a "dream" or an alternate state or another reality, I don't think that's very important.

Normally, I think that dreams are messages from our own "higher" subconscious. I find that the more vivid and memorable the dream, the more important the message seems to be.

But I've had dreams which don't feel like dreams. After my Dad died 14 years ago, I had a "dream" that he came to me and gave me a kind of good luck talisman and told me everything would be fine if I just followed my heart.

I do think that was some kind of visitation rather than a dream - it just didn't feel like an ordinary dream.

Whether they're dreams or not, if they feel significant, then they probably are.

Guides do use dreams to communicate with us. If you're having a vivid dream like that that has an effect on you like that, consider it a message.

hmmm well i envy you for remembering what this meeting was about...

years ago i dreamt i had an appointment with a group of 'dead people' or something .. dead important people? all i recognized was john candy (canadian comedian) in the group but i felt like everyone else had some sort of significance. i don't know what was discussed. all i remember was entering and leaving..

i guess the most interesting thing is my ex and my different reactions to the telling off, per se. it sort of made me think that due to my reaction, perhaps i was at a more "advanced" level than him. which also made me think, in retrospect, perhaps - if it was so important to have a "meeting" about it - that perhaps that's part of my lesson for this incarnation; to teach him.

there was always a big mothering aspect in our relationship. i expect, should i go into past life regression, i've probably been his mother quite a few times before LOL
