Cold Chills

I have been experiencing a lot of cold chills lately. I looked up cold chills, and one site stated that cold chills were only caused by negative energy. The site stated that when you felt cold chills, it was a "being" taking energy from us and that is why we get the chills.

Does anyone know if this is true?

I have always associated cold chills with spirits, but I have never felt that they were going to hurt me, but after reading that chills meant negative energy, I am a little worried. The site stated that a loving spirit will recharge its energy from an electrical appliance, not a person. I rarely feel threatened, and usually when I do I am outside, not in the house. I also seem to get chills the most on the left side of my neck. I always found this comforting because I believed that it was someone that I love that has passed that is watching over me.

Has anyone else ever heard this? Do you think cold chills mean negative energy? What do cold chills mean?

Getting chills up and down your spine or arms is not always negative energy, no. Doreen Virtue talks about getting chills as signs that your angels are with you, or signs that "truth has just been spoken"

I often get a chill when someone I'm reading for says something profound, and they often get chills when I tell them something they were only daydreaming about doing.

Hmm.. the way I see it, it's some kind of reaction to thought.. but your right I'm not sure quite what it means..

I know goose bumps or just that effect on your back should be your inner-self.. but it seems if memory serves a real cold chill is related to some kind of thought but what kind of that that is.. I'm not quite sure..

i get them too, but only when i am thinking negative about myself and its true-every time too-most be negative energy i only get them when i am thinking negatively.y am i SO depressed by my own thoughts

I used to get random subtle shakes and shivers, without feeling cold, when I tried a regiment to open up my receptive and active psychic skills. A lot of this meditation was physical relaxation, so it could have been the muscles that I should have been using to walk without slouching-- while the ones I usually use were loosened up so I could breathe better-- were shocked into usage.

Sometimes, though, when I felt these shivers, a friend of mine who's sensitive would warn me that I was 'flaring' ... I guess, that my aura was extending further than it should for a brief, quick time, during these shivers... and that it was annoying.

Temperature fluxuations do not necessarily mean good or bad. Merely differentenergy is around you at the moment. Energy that is not of you, or on a different vibration than you.
