Spirit Guide Trying To Get Though To Me?

Over a year ago I was feeling really drained. I had no walls up and I was feeling the anguish and pain of everyone around, especially one hurt person in particular. I talked to Erin here and she recommended that I do some exercises to put up a shield/wall, and that really seemed to help.

I haven't really investigated my physic abilities since then.

Recently, however, I've been doing some meditation and trying to get into contact with my spirit guide/guides. I've also been doing some writing in word trying to channel some answers. My luck has been mixed.

However, over the last week or I've been seeing the year 1984 mentioned over and over again in writing. I'm probably up to five or six incidences by now. I've also seen 1983 once, not sure if it's related. I was born in 1984, so that's why it catches my attention.

Could this me some sort of communication attempt? Erin has mentioned seeing scenes in movies over and over, etc. But 1984? What could it mean?

My birth month and date haven't been showing up alongside of it. I'm not sure what message I should be taking from it.

In terms of my birthday, it's next month, I'll be 24, and I'm running my first marathon two days after that.

If anyone has any good ideas I'd like to hear them.

George Orwell wrote a really famous book titled 1984. Maybe you should read the book, and see if there's a message inside that's significant for you.

Wow. I'm glad I asked now. I've always wanted to read 1984, but it wasn't ringing a bell becuase I just associate it with my birthday.

Very interesting.

I wouldn't read it in this moment of your life

If I were in your state of mind I would put of reading this book until I was emotionally strong. It is heavy reading, really heavy.

I don't understand what emotional state has to do with reading a book, unless it's "How to Commit Suicide for Dummies". I read about a quarter of Nineteen Eighty-Four before stopping, because I lost my copy of the book. However, I found it incredibly interesting, especially with the whole system of Newspeak that Orwell invented. I don't see why you shouldn't read the book.
