Hi, I'm new here and came across this website today when searching for help with finding lost items! I lost my Nintedogs: Dauschund & Friends, Nintendo DS game card between 4-6 months ago. I've searched everywhere and I've tried all the possible places in which I may have put it. I keep getting frustrated because I can't find it and I'm not sure when I exactly lost it because, I had it and then suddenly it dissapeared. I know it sounds like a silly thing to be frustrated over as to some people, it's just a game, but I played that game a lot and had a lot of good items and money on it, not to mention pets, which I miss! Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated, Thanks (: |

Thanks! I will look there; I have already looked there before but not right down in the sofa! It's weird because I when thinking about it I always had a feeling it was in an area like that, but never searched properly, I will look later and tell you if I find it |

Hey! Just to let you know, I searched really hard in my sofa and couldn't find it; I dug my hand right down to the base of the sofa, which was not easy! and hurt my arm a bit! I thought I found it once, but found that it was actually a coin! If you have any more suggestions it would be great! Thanks for the help | |

There's a form of astrology called horary astrology, where you note down the date, time and location you thought of asking a question, and then try to read the chart to supposedly get an answer. I'm no expert in it, and I don't even have a good idea of how well it works in general (it seems to depend a lot on the skill or intuition of the person reading), but, I decided to try it. Immediately after I read your post, I looked at the chart produced with the following data. (The following line can be copied and pasted into the free astrology software Astrolog 5.40 to produce the same chart). -qa Aug 23 2008 8:56 EDT 80:34W 41:09N (Location: Hubbard, OH) Question: where is Elimitey's Nintendogs game? In horary, the ruler of the 1st house is often used to represent the person the question concerns (in this case, you). The 7th house can represent the astrologer reading the chart (if the astrologer is reading it for someone else). The 2nd house is associated with material possessions, so I'm using the ruler of the 2nd house to represent the game. The ruler of the 1st house (associated with the person the question concerns) is Mercury at 21°55' Virgo. The ruler of the 2nd house (associated with the item) is Venus at 21°19' Virgo. The two are conjunct, 0°36' away from each other. This makes me think the item is likely somewhere very close by to you. Virgo, being the 6th sign, is the sign associated with the 6th house, which is associated with pets. Mercury and Venus are both in an opposition to Uranus, the planet most associated with technology, electronics, etc. Uranus is in the sign of Pisces, which is associated with fantasy, virtual things, etc., and Uranus is also in the 6th house (the house of pets). Mercury and Venus are both in the 12th house. The 12th house is actually the house of things that are inobvious, hidden, hard to find. But, since the two are conjunct, I'm guessing it's likely to be someplace practically right under your nose that you've just been overlooking somehow. Maybe try looking in places which are 12th-house-like and/or Virgo-like. Virgo is often associated with cleaning, cooking, everyday chores, scholarly things, writing, etc. A closet? A kitchen cabinet? Someplace where you study or write? Somewhere out of the way, not immediately visible, underneath or behind something else. Virgo is associated with Mercury, which is associated with things like education, newspapers, writing, etc. Maybe amongst some newspapers, magazines, or schoolwork? Maybe just try looking extra hard around your immediate vicinity, in typical everyday places you frequently go? If there are any masses of unorganized clutter around, maybe cleaning them up would help. The 12th house is associated with things that can undermine you. Virgo is associated with order, organization, etc., so, the Virgo emphasis in the 12th house might suggest that lack of organization might be a particular obstacle in this case. On the other hand, that's kind of common sense - clutter can make it hard to find things. Who really needs astrology to tell them that? Though, on the other hand, the Virgo emphasis might suggest you're actually quite orderly already, especially with Mercury being in Virgo, the sign that Mercury rules. Ah, the vagueness of astrology... Anyhow, I don't know how useful or valid any of this will be, but, there's my interpretation of that chart. Good luck finding the game. My little sister has that game, it's adorable. Best wishes, Apollia Last edited by Apollia; 08-23-2008 at 02:05 PM. |

I do not know how religious you are, you don't really have to be, just believe when you say the phrase. Anytime i loose something i pray to St. Anthony. "Please St. Anthony, please come around, something is lost and cannot be found." Over and over again and concentrate on what you had lost. Usually i receive images in my head of places or inkling of a feeling you should look there. I have heard of making your own pendulum also. Basically you take something your wear all the time a charm a ring or something you feel very connected to that can be hung on a string. You hold it right up and let your energy wave it around. stabilize it and ask it and concentrate on where to look for your item, go the direction it points to, when it starts bouncing forward and backward, supposedly you find it somewhere below or above. Let me know what you come up with. |

What I can say is, through my own very extensive experience in losing things, is if you stop worrying about it and telling yourself you probably won't find it, it turns up. Could you try just leaving it be for a bit, and then looking for it later when you are less upset?
