Default can lucid dreams stimulate the pituitary gland?

i know for sure that its in your head/ brain, but its a gland though so im not sure if working out in my LD's can help me in gaining more muscle mass (over a period of time of course)?

i would say no, it would stimulate your muscle fibres slightly, very very slightly, and if youve ever trained you already know how hard you have to work to gain muscle mass.

in college i learnt about motor neurons, when you think of yourself doing something your brain fires off the same motor neurons as it would when your actually doing it, so in theory it would help in sport because it would improve the motor programs, but even if the motor neurons could stimulate your muscle fibres, it wouldnt be anywhere near enough.

but i hear working out and eating right helps lol

peace.

i know for sure that stimulating the pituitary gland is possible using binaural beats, so i know for sure you don't have to exercise.

what course did you learn that about the motor neurons and thinking of exercise? personally i made some progress with my martial arts techniques by imaging kicking and punching while walking to/from school and when i am not doing much. i would like to know more about that kind of thing.

it was A level P.E at college, apparently a lot of pro athletes dedicate time in their training just to visualization (no its no LOA, before somone starts).

when i had time off from boxing i spent a lot of time visualizing aswell, and it felt like i had improved, technique whise anyways, and it felt more like it came to me naturally, this is the result of using the motor programs when visualizing.

from what i understand the pituitary gland is what releases HGH? or something like that?
if what you say is true then i guess in theory it may work, but i cant imagine it having a large enough impact on your hormone levels let alone muscle mass.

reall intresting theory though, got me thinking lol.

peace

lol the PE teachers at my school get mad at me for not comming to high jump practice, but i don't really need to since i already have perfect form from watching the olympians on youtube and visualizing myself mimicing their movements.

if HGH is used to grow taller; muscle, and other things, how is it possible that some people are tall and skinny, or short and muscled? i guess its because there are several different kind of HGH seeing how most Muay Thai fighters in SE Asia are short, yet have bones used as bludeouns.

thats one thing i thought about too, if somones gonna grow reall tall because of it, they must be growing more muscle too, but thats never the case.

perhaps genetics effects what hgh is used for within a person
so tall people have tall kids etc

but i cant help thinking nutrition and enviroment has a major effect, i can only clearly remember 2 growth spurts as a teen and both of them were when i went on 2 month holidays to go stay with family in america, i lived how they lived i ate what they ate and when i come home both times i noticed i had grown quite a lot taller in that small amount of time.

or it could be a coincident lol.

i just realized something. when you grow taller the bones and muscles do grow, just not thicker or denser. i guess when your P gland is active it concentrates its stuff on damaged areas of the body, such as bones or muscles. but when there is no damage, than it disperses the concentrates and helps you growing taller rather than tougher.
