Default Are there critical guides?

I don't have much experience in lucid dreaming or talking
with spiritual guides. About a year ago, I had read some
including from this site, and I recall there being two
people in my room that I was able to communicate with. I
had not had the rest to be able to continue regular
communication with them later.

I just recently picked up trying again, and found that last night one of the people in my room was someone I had as a kid. I would say he isn't particularly a pleasant fellow, as almost everything he talk about is critical of me. Last night was about weight, and I am not particularly overweight (within a five-pound range I have committed to remain within).

So my question is would a guide speek in a critical way or argue with another in a room about something. I wouldn't say that this fellow was even talking directly to me.

If you encounter a spirit that is critical, not loving, I'd call it a gremlin, not a guide. I'd banish it from your space if I were you.
