I'm rather surprised I'm posting here. I'm not sure if I'm drawn to do this or if I'm just finding ways to procrastinate further. When I was in my teens, I remember often getting dreams that would later lead to a feeling of deja vu. Like I'd see the exact same thing. Usually giving me a feeling of foreboding or to be more aware that something important was afoot. Once a cousin spoke of getting an engagement ring for a friend of family, and for some reason it felt like I knew it was going to happen a long time ago. Now, I've speculated it could be that I've picked up clues and subconsciously pieced together near future events, but I wonder? Thoughts, Comments, or Similar Experiences, Please Post! |

I feel that my experiences of Deja vu have been me remembering having arranged the event in the Ether before I was even born. And then when it happens it's like a flash of recognition 'oh, this feels familiar!, I remember this'.

I get dreams like that . Moreso when I was younger but I still get them. Usually they are about 10 seconds of something completely useless and while it's happening, I do realize that I dreamt of it the night prior to it. I don't know what it means, or why, but it is very cool. So far it has no meaning to me. perhaps a reminder that I need to tune in a little more to my own guidance? |

This happens to me very frequently, sometimes from dreams long ago. Sometimes very mild, or sometimes like a real freak-me-out-wtf-omg-that-was-crazy-i-have-chills-now-I'm-scarred, all depending on the details and intensity of the experience. Also, it could be either deja vu, or dream deja vu, which is like you mentioned. Regardless, it's all something I'm very interested in, especially the causes. |

I once had a dream I was in an earthquake, when I awoke I checked yahoo and sure enough there had been a large earthquake over sea's "Dude I had a dream that you got an 85 on your math test" "Shows me 85" "Dude you can predict the future" "Tell me my future" "But what if I dream you die?, Ha don't worry were young you won't die any time soon." A week later my friend Marco was killed in a tragic jet ski accident. |

I dream places where ive never been on. Later in my life i pass through those places for some reason. Its really weird when it happens to me is like my mind gets into shock and remember all the dream or a part. Is like i pass through that place or i go that place and i instantly remember that dream which if it wasnt for me passing there or going there i wouldnt remember.

I think this could also be due to the fact of the illusion of time/space. If there is no time/distance with energy, then this could simply be a way we tap into those other times/places of our "entire" existence, and dreams are simply the window to it. So if it's all right now, even past and future, I suppose it could be purposeful or accidental overlaps of the lines, or whatever you want to call them. Just a thought. |

I have gotten that feeling of deja vu before, where it feels like it comes from the ether previously. I often have the dreams that fortell a situation I'm in, and they're very accurate, to the point where I know someone is going to walk around a corner, or someone will say something, things like that. Sometimes I get these pangs of deja vu, but it feels more like its from the future, as if I am looking back on something I'm doing as an old (or older) man...like I am thinking about whatever it was I was doing, or telling someone about it. It's really weird. It feels like deja vu, but there's something very eerily different about it, and I feel like I am living in a memory. |
