I have a not-so-secret wish that someone find me through a dream. So one thing I'm eager to do often while dreaming is to share my real name and contact information. However, this seems to trigger problems rather quickly... As an example, this week while I was trying to explain my name (and the concept of a name) to some beings they got very irate. They said they realized I was an "Earthworker", and that earthworkers would "be irrelevant soon enough". In this case they didn't attack, but the group dissipated despite having previously seemed eager to talk to me. (I followed one of them begging for more information...and all I managed to find out was that she claimed to be a "Goomah" which meant she had the job "to carry things".) This sort of treatment is a regular occurrence, and usually it's worse (attacks). If I choose not to start a conversation about who I am, I can get pretty far in investigating a circumstance...I can wander around rooms, tinker with things, ask questions, and even be a pretty big pest. But the moment I start talking about who I am it seems to cause a problem. This is annoying specifically because sharing my identity is very crucial to my fantasy goal of establishing some kind of regular contact. Does anyone else have this problem, or a similar problem of bringing up subjects that nearly always result in getting shut down? |

I have problems when I try to define who I am by my earthly life. That might be why your running into problems. Who you are isn't your name and contact information when you are in a dream or the spiritual realm. Perhaps an entity that is not from Earth would want some common ground. My dream body is nothing like my "real" body. It's sexless and not human. It helps me remember that here, I'm not defined by the same characteristics as I am when I'm awake.

Lately I've been asking if they can show me any cool ideas that I can bring back with me when I wake up. I'm fond of saying "Show me a cool invention" or "What was the hot Christmas gift last year". Usually that doesn't get me very far... (On that topic, I don't understand their items when they disassemble them for me. There seem to be mechanisms, but there's no convenient constraints like in physical reality. They're more like odd multidimensional projections of convoluted computer software...where space has no meaning.) | |
