reiki & chi

so i had this wonderful (yet terrifying) experience today when i was at my reiki session.
i've developed bunions early on in my life (started to when i was still young enough to be in the single digit decade) and had flat feet. i was told reiki couldn't help this.. but she felt like she was being pulled to my feet today and realized my meridian was blocked. this would explain all my blocks in my left side of my body, as my left foot was worse than my right, because i'm right handed and i draw/paint (this releases energy apparently).
so she told me my bunion had been caused by the terror i experienced when little -- and my dad got in between my birthright to the golden light energy and me as i had believed the only reason i was here was due to him, and everything i owe (my life) it to him. so she started working on unblocking the area and i tend to respond really well to this practise, especially after i had to quit chocolate (the withdrawl was quite a rollercoaster.. i wasn't a pleasant person to be around)
anyway. so she wasn't expecting so much of a release of energy from my foot..
-- i begun to cry, as expected as part of the release.. i really did feel the fear that i felt when i was really little that i had internalized. she did expect the chi to start flowing through me and all the typical syptoms that i experienced. it felt minty actually -- the same type of minty-ness that was in this ancient chinese meds that my naturopath gave me to clear my chakras.

anyway. so keep in mind my bunion had become so bad that doctors said it was fusing my joint together.. my big toe was crooked and was barely mobile from side to side.. it was really stiff. they said the only thing that could correct it was surgery.
so the symptoms of experiencing chi for the first time in a long time include that minty feeling of energy.. and it just flows right through you once in works through the blocks.
next you start feeling vibrating energy. this also takes over your whole body as the chi moves through you. the next big thing is stiffness. mine was a bit intense. it got to the point where i could not move my hands.. my arms folded up (my wrists were at my shoulders) and my hands were clenched tightly. this was after having her sit me up.. try different positions and used the small tibetan bell that looks like two mini cymbals. (which... felt insane when she hit them together because it felt like disks of energy hitting me in different levels of my torso..)
it came to the point where my lungs started feeling like they were stiffening. when i told her this she got concerned because i was also sweating a lot and breathing heavily and fast but not dangerously fast. so she ended up calling 911 and before they arrived i finally calmed my body down and i was really shakey for a while.. i downed glasses of water one after the other..
so the paramedics came.. checked me out.. my blood pressure etc.. and i did feel much better (of course we had to be very vague as to what was happening) and after signing a form saying that i'm responsible for myself for not going to the hospital they left. it was scary as i've never had emergency called for me. both firetruck and ambulance came.
when i finally got off the bed my foot felt so light and airy it was ... amazing.
i was still shakey on the way home. when i got home i tested out my foot. i already felt a difference in mobility but i couldn't really check until i could move my toe by my hand. it is so incredibly mobile and i can hear the calcium build up already breaking down when i move it. its no longer stiff at all. you don't understand how much of a difference it is.. i can even straighten it with my hands!
so yes. i am a full believer that this 'reality' is an illusion (although i had felt that already i just didn't have the full experience such as this). i understand we are still a part of this illusion so don't worry i'm not about to try and walk through walls :P
anyway i am off to sleep as i need to rest.. a lot!

i just remembered something weird. i recall when the whole process really started following through i was kind of wondering what exactly was going to happen so i tried making contact with a guide. i can't remember exactly what was said to me when i asked what was going to happen.. but it was something along the lines as 'what do you think is gonna happen' but with attitude. then they repeated the answer in a different accent, and another and i remember thinking wait a second you can't be my guide, get away from me! and they actually started to melt.. like a wax figure or something to that extent.. it was a strange visual to accompany the whole process. i really don't know what that was...

I love reiki! I haven't had such direct, physical outcomes with it. Thanks SO much for telling us about this! It's inspiring!
