Dimensions and Past Lives

Hey all.

So lately I've been more exposed to or at least.. having more people mention different dimensions and past lives. I'm fully aware of the Akashic record, although I don't know if I agree with it that its all occuring at the same time (our different lives).
Anyway, that's not the point of this. I'm wondering if there is like, a 'confirmed list' of different dimensions or if its more complicated then that.

Apparently I am sensitive to my past lives but I just don't remember them. An example was that I went to my naturopath and he gave me a combination of herbs etc in a tincture -- some of which were ancient chinese herbs. (I didn't know this at the time.. I don't really ask questions but do research on my own later). The first time I took the tincture I felt an outline of a rectangle being drawn into myself by like a finger or something on my upper right chest/shoulder. I finally remembered to ask him what that was because I found it quite odd and he said his gut intuition was that I had a previous life in an asian country in which I wore a sash across myself and I guess that rectangle was some version of some sort of badge. Taking the herbs just made my spirit remember it.
I'm wondering, how can I become more aware and recall things from previous lifetimes? Is it possible to become aware on my own or do I have to approach someone who is knowledgable in the akashic record to guide me?

You could seek out a competent past life regressionist, who could use hypnosis to guide you to the memories you seek. Or you could practice going deep into your mind on your own by way of introspective meditation. It takes awhile to go THAT deep though for most individuals.

i would imagine it would take a while and a lot of 'digging' to become aware of past lives.. as i get the impression we are made to generally forget depending on where you are.

Physical plane: The densest of the seven planes; where we presently reside.

Astral plane: The second plane of creation. Its medium is concrete emotional energy. It is where our consciousness is focused between lifetimes and when we're finished with the physical plane.

Causal plane: The third plane of creation. Its medium is concrete intellectual energy. It is Michael's plane of existence.

Akashic plane: The central, neutral plane of creation that interconnects the other six. The distilled knowledge of the universe is recorded there. so. within the article after they go through this they bring up the topic of the 'nonsolid levels' of the physical planes.
the first time i went to see my reiki practioner i didn't realize it at the time until after we had a conversation later about confusing energy with spirits, and so when i explained what i saw after my first reiki experience -- apparently i saw faeries! i didn't really consider them to exist (now i know they do) although mostly in their true form occasionally adapting different shapes of actual creatures (legs, swimming across)
apparently they come down to help her weave and fix people's auras. when she does work..
anyway this explains the other things i have seen i.e. that time i saw that hand pop out of the wall with long long fingernails... that thing in my backyard late at night.. and the dark energy that transformed into lighter energy when i was smudging my room with sage.

so my next question coming from this is what are these creatures of the ether planes? are there any books or websites that really go into detail about them? I can only imagine the creature with the long nails wanted to get my attention for a reason.. to stick its hand infront of my face like that..
are these where the mythical creatures come from? (considering that faeries reside in this plane)

i know i could ask my reiki practioner all this but i dont' have an appointment for a few days and i'm quite curious on aquiring knowledge about all of this.

one other quick question is i think i've had images come to me of the buddaic plane -- but they usually freak me out i guess because i don't understand them. its either an abstract object or a moving energy that i feel like i have been a part of before -- but feeling lack of control... i guess chaos! is that what that is?
any sort of surrealistic art form that is larger then me -- a moving abstract energy or something has always freaked me out. also huge moving fans. or things like that. i feel like a huge nerd but putting on those visual applications that come with windows media player or winamp while listening to music.. if i put it on full screen it freaks me out and i feel uneasy. especially with ones that are like swirling vortexes because i've had dreams of flying or falling through 'dimensions' of these.

There is a reason we forget our past lives when we incarnate - information overload! Remembering all our past lives would mean access to a lot of information, most of which would probably not be particularly relevant to this present lifetime. It would be a bit distracting!

The past lives that I pick up on in my readings are usually the ones that require some healing or releasing work.

It sounds like you healed something with your naturopath - when you remember a past life, it's often a sign that you're bringing consciousness to the past life situation and processing and releasing it.
