Getting everything you want after death?

I have heard this somewhere before but do any of you believe this, when you die, you instantly can have anything you have wanted in your life, be it wealth, eating as much as you want, etc. I also think this is a great way of releasing all the problems you had during your life (such as lack of money, not having that kind of body you have always wanted, not being famous, etc.) because I think it would be very detrimental to be dead and not being able to achieve any of the things that you always wanted to do, so thus you have regrets in your death. Does any of you believe in this viewpoint in life after death?

Why wait? Why not have everything you want NOW?

Hey Mew, personally I believe that when you die your soul goes to a place to rest a while before choosing to reincarnate again. In this place/realm I think that you are able to manifest anything or even go anywhere at will, and have total freedom. However, when you are connected back to the source things are different there- you aren't as attached to such material things like money, food ect. but you could have it if you really wanted to...though in the end there is not really a need for such earthly desires.

Great point Angela, I was thinking the same thing while writing that post.:D I know that Phantom, but I think that people who are recently dead might not immediately be able to just let go of all those earthly ideas because they were living there for 80-90 years and that has an effect on the individual, you can't just shrug it off, it has to be dealt with. Although,I do agree that eventually they will let go of all those earthly things, but I just found it kind of dumb to just think that when you die, you immediately let go of all the things that made up your earthly existence, it just seemed really unlikely to me to happen that way.

So, as I thought before, it isn't that easy to just let go of everything from your earthly existence, it just is too unlikely to happen.
