went to an energy healer today

It was interesting!

The therapist was a practitioner of the Lifeline Technique - developed by Dr. Darren Weissman:

Infinite Love & Gratitude

First she reviewed a questionnaire I filled out about my life, my diet and any health problems I was experiencing. I wrote that I wanted help with hormone balancing since I have PMS every month.

Then she did some muscle testing which involved holding my arm out straight in front of me while she pushed down on the top of my hand. To test it out, first I looked at a picture of a smiley face and was able to keep my arm up. When I looked at a pic of a frowney face, my arm wasn't as strong. She then touched my heart area and then my back and I was able to keep my arm up while looking at the frowney face. She said that's how the lifeline technique works.

She then did some healing work - I did actually feel warmth in areas like my liver/gallbladder when she was working. And at one point, when she was working on my lungs, I felt hot. Basically I held my arm up and she pressed on it while asking me to think of things related to specific words like "shame". Then she "healed" me by saying "infinite love and gratitude" and helping my organs get synchronized -that's the best way I can describe it.

I also wore some colored glasses - yellowish colored ones for color therapy. I think those were for different stages in my life such as when I was 16 and age 3.

Not sure if I feel any different - I do feel tired though - like I could really use a nap but then again sometimes I feel like that in the afternoons.

She told me I have to eat protein every two hours for the next couple of days and to drink a lot of water, exercise and two other things which I forgot! Geez - ok I remember - journal and sleep. She tested me to see if I get enough sleep and I do! (I'm good at that!).

So, that's my experience. Not sure if I'll go back for more sessions. I mostly went out of curiousity to see what it was like.

yes i recently have been to one as well.
she is a reiki practioner however. i've only been to her once but i do plan on going back. but it was quite amazing how she did make me feel. she managed to free me of my anxiety (only as a glimpse of what we can accomplish in the future) and she started working on my liver, pancreas and i guess a bunch of others got all effected by the energy movement as my liver definitely was blocked. i was in a bit of pain for the next few days (my organs) but it definitely helped when i went for a long slow walk. she has me eating mainly leafy greens and drinking lemon water and minimize the intake of the rest of the food i usually eat.
she used dried sage on me and that felt amazing so i went out and bought some to smudge my room and eventually the rest of the house. apparently it helps heal spirits too if your home is haunted.
she also filled me with golden light right at the end. i saw remnants of energy up on the ceiling when i finally opened my eyes.
definitely looking forward to our next appointment.
