Encouraging Psychic Dreams

In the past year, I've had a couple of dreams in which either deceased loved ones or other entities have contacted me, either to introduce themselves or pass on valuable information. The content of our interactions has included words in languages I don't know, which I've then looked up and found that not only are they actual words, their meaning is entirely contextually relevant.

Other than intent, and working at techniques of lucid dreaming and of astral travel, does anyone have other suggestions for how I might create a climate in which I had more dreams like this?

I feel like I'm not currently grounded enough to delve as deeply into the psychic world as I would like. Suggestions for how to remedy this are also encouraged.

Sounds like you're on the right track. One thing I would suggest is trying to raise your energetic vibration to a higher frequency. This can be a confusing path because there's lots of credos out there that say what's good and bad. For your specific spiritual and physical makeup it could be very different from somebody else. I say throw away the books and follow your conscience.

Has your intuition been telling you to make changes in your thinking, behaviors, the company you keep, your job, anything? Follow that. Chances are, it's somebody reminding you who you are, and tuning in to that is going to open your other channels much more quickly than anything I or anybody else could advise.

Wise words, Andy, and I've definitely been keeping them in mind since you posted.
