I think i may be psychic, i foresaw a crime..

Right hello,

When i was younger i would often sit and i would have a voice saying to me 'that telephone is gonna ring in a minute' and it would. Sometimes i would even know who would be calling.

Its become apparent to me that recently, i have something telling me to look at the clock and then go fetch my phone out of my handbag. Lo and behold, there is a text message and the time the message was sent is the time that was on the clock when i looked at it..maybe its just coincidence?

Recently my boyfriend died in a car crash, but when we first got together i had a voice in my head saying 'you might not be together in 6 months' and i would just speak it out loud to my boyfriend, who would sometimes get upset as there i was jinxing our relationship lol. But this thought would often keep creeping into my head when i would spend time with him and then one day something was saying to me 'you need to treasure every minute you spend with him as you dont know how long it is going to last'. So i did.

Anyway to the crime: when i was ion between the age of 9-11 (can't remember exactly) i remember having a vision or a dream. I can't go into details as its too disturbing but basically a woman was being raped but there was eletrocution involved :S (as you can see it's not something i would exactly go telling my parents about, i thought i was sick in the head). Anyway about two-three months later i was reading The Sun newspaper and there is a tiny article on how a woman had been raped etc and all the details i had dreamt were in this article. The story didn't receive much coverage but i just remember being sat there thinking 'omg, i dreamt that would happen'. I've never told anyone this before. All i can remember is i could not picture faces, or speech i just saw what was happening. Trust me it was very scary to be seeing this at such a young age.

So my question is: has anyone else dreamt of things that have happened and read about it in the newspaper? or had dreams about people they don't know and then they find out it is true?or is it just coincidence?

I have never had a dream as vivid as that one^ again, i think my mind wanted to block it out as it was too distressing.

i once dreamed that my dad would go with my mom's best friend that would lead to a divorce, it did a year afterwards =/ it's as close as it gets in my life so far

I have dreampt of future events and had other kinds of premonitions all my life; but they are future events in my life, or that of my friends and family. If something is happening to someone I am close to or is about to happen, I tend to get a heads up from the U.

Your experience is interesting, because it isn't about you or anyone you know.

One thing I do is negotiate with the U on how much is ok to see psychically. I am not ok with seeing violence, etc. I've made that clear, and such things would not come in for me. You can do the same. Psychic ability doesn't just happen to us; we have every right to make it clear what is ok and what is not; and what is not then will not come through.

Wow that's pretty intense.

I have, like, deja vu SO MUCH. And I'm not saying 'like' as in I'm a caligirl, but as in, it's hardcore deja vu. I get it a lot, and sometimes it makes me flash back and recall that I dreamt it a long time ago. Whether I did or not I'm not always sure.

It's never been anything big like yours, just little stupid stuff like being at a place or or doing something etc. Just random events. But it's always me.

I have had like dreams come true, but they're usually the same, going along with the deja vu.

There really has to be something to this. So many people report it, it can't just be flukes.

I have deja vu very often too. They were always very vivid, and even to the point where I could recall things people say before they say them, who was going to be around the next corner, or if someone was going to react to something in a definite way. I always thought I was a little cuckoo until I started remembering and recording my dreams, then I saw that I was actually dreaming a lot of random situations before they happen.

Helly, maybe this is what you did. Is it possible that you tapped into what you pictured while just reading the article, and this is what spurred the dream (in some sort of wacky reverse time, at least)??

i can see where you are coming from but i am 100% certain i had that dream before reading the article. Maybe it was just a one-off....

I'm certain you had it before the crime too! I just meant that maybe you were picking up on images you read (later, in real life) of the crime in your dream!
