Psychic reading question/request for advice

Hello, all! This is my first time posting. I have a couple of questions that delve into areas in which I have absolutely experience, and you all seem very knowledgeable and experienced, so please bear with me.

My questions concern a psychic reading. I lost my daughter, Jordan, 9/4/07, and I want more than anything in the world to try to contact her in some way. I am thinking about making an appointment with Erin Pavlina for a reading. I was looking over the Intuitive Readings FAQ and Ms. Pavlina writes,

"If the only reason you want a reading with me is to connect with a deceased loved one then you might be better served finding someone who specializes in being a medium."

I want to follow her advice/instructions, and I don't want to anger her, but after reading about her and some of the things she has written, I have the feeling that I MUST have her do a reading for me--no one else will do. Does that make any sense? She also writes,

"Opening up the conduit to answer just one question is a big waste of time and energy. It's like getting God on the line and asking just one question. When I open the line, so to speak, your guides and higher self will have a lot to share with you. They don't want to just answer one question, they want to share information, wisdom, insight, and knowledge with you. Out of respect for the guides and the process, I don't do readings to answer just 1 question. 30 minutes is the minimum."

I am open to hearing/knowing anything anyone may wish to tell me, but I really only have questions concerning my daughter. I want to know that she is OK, happy and at peace. I want to know/confirm that she knows how much I love her, and I also want to tell her that I am so very sorry. During the last several months I have learned a great deal about "Manifesting Intentions" and "Law of Attraction." I've found that I have been amazed at truth of it and that it truly works/exists. I wish I had known before she died. I am convinced that my family and I are the reason she died because of our negative emotions and worry for her (I also feel that we are the cause of the accident that we had that left her paralyzed,with so many other awful, permanent injuries that caused her to lose both legs before her death). I just want her to know how very sorry I am. Do you think this will be acceptable to Ms. Pavlina (will she think I'm crazy--maybe I am)? I would very much appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Sometimes deceased spirits come through very easily for me and sometimes they don't. If you're open to the psychic reading which will help you with your own life in addition to wanting to connect with your daughter, then go ahead and sign up for a reading.

But if you really want to connect with her you may need to book a reading with more than one medium until a connection is made. Also be sure you never ever tell a medium anything about your daughter or the circumstances surrounding her death. it's vital for validation purposes not to say who you are looking to connect with. You must let the medium do the work. Because of all that you've already said here what if I brought her through and told you, "Yeah, she's telling me she lost both her legs before her death." Well I already know that so it's not validation.

This is a big caution to everyone who wants a reading with me. Do not tell me in advance anything about any deceased person you want to connect with. Let me pick that info up myself.

I am so sorry about your daughter and you do not sound crazy, you sound like someone who is grieving.

Your daughter didn't die because of your negative emotions. There are no accidents. Every soul is in control of their own destiny and they choose their plan for incarnating before they get here – for some souls that includes when they will leave the Earth plane.

Your daughter's plan for incarnating will have included some life lessons to learn and some karma to resolve. It sounds like your daughter may have incarnated with a plan to learn or resolve or teach something in particular and then when it was done, she moved onto the next part of her soul's journey.

If we look at illness and death from a 3D perspective, it looks like a dreadful thing to happen, especially when it happens to someone we love.

But if you look at death from the perspective of the soul, you know that it's a natural part of a soul's path and that the soul is in control of the timing.
