Well, I personally make my living using my intuition in readings, and train others to do the same. Are you looking to develop yours?

I think our intuition is one of our most amazing resources - it has certainly made my own life run more smoothly and effortlessly.

I have had some amazing experiences in which my intuition led me to do or not do something. On a couple of occasions this really went against the grain and was contrary to ideas that were popular in the group I was socializing with at the time. Those experiences really taught me to recognize when my intuition gets all abuzz and to listen and to be guided by the thoughts and feelings I'm having when that happens.

My belief is that we can intuit correctly 100% of the time, if we can hone and develop the ability to the fullest.

i have been reading some channeled teachings and they say that intuition and inspiration is a connection to that vast pool of thought "stream of knowledge"

I think intuition could be like rationalization backwards. There is a flash of insight that ends up making sense later, instead of putting clues together to arrive at an answer.

I think I get my intuition mixed up with ego and other things, I've read definitions of each, and I'm still not a hundred per cent sure on that one.

Sometimes I feel like I can hear a voice inside me, and sometimes I feel something without their being a voice. I read somewhere that intuition tends to be more immediate regarding sudden decisions that need to be made, and I don't think I've ever experienced anything like that; what I tend to hear or feel builds up after a little while until it gets so clear that I can't possibly ignore it anymore! Does that sound familiar to anyone?

I'm a very impulsive person. If I followed my "intuition" all the time, I'd have quite the adventure, but would all the decisions be right? I don't know. Probably not. Most of my impulses are positive and not detrimental, but they're distracting and sometimes waste a lot of time. What's your advice to me on this? I'm really curious.

Same for me here if I give myself half a chance to.

Here's my story on intuition. I've only recently discovered my intuition through some rather trying times and now I know that is correct 100 percent.

48 hours before my bf and I broke up I had the sudden urge to cancel plans we were making for that weekend. I have no idea why I wanted to cancel I just felt something and I called other friends to see if they wanted to go to the theatre with me instead. The next morning I also felt this urge to ask him to meet me in the evening but I didnt by the evening I could not stop myself I had to call him. Now I should also point out that I rarely called him, mostly because he usually called me. I called him and he sounded like he was in the middle of something so I said I'd speak to him later. But after a couple of minutes I called him again, again for no logical reason. Now here's what was going on on the other end. He was cheating on me. Not just that, when I called him the first time the women he was cheating on me with had just proposed to him. ie he was in the middle of something. When I hung up he accepted and when I called back we broke up! Now how on earth did I manage to call him while he was in the middle of a proposal from another woman?

Now the other weird thing was during the break up conversation one thing that came up was the time I actually said to my ex that I wish his ex wife was dead. Since we were breaking up anyway he told me that was around the same time that his ex wife had met up with him to try to start an affair. I remember that at the time I just felt this compelling desire to just say it. There was no logical reason for me to think that there was anything going on. The reason I say it's intuition is because my ex asked (when we were breaking up) how on earth I knew something was up back then. Personally I have no idea if or how I knew something was up. I just felt something. A compulsion to say or act.

Going forward from that I started noting and noticing changes in my physiology and how I felt and any compulsive feeling I had I acted on them. So one time I felt this strange thing in my stomach that felt like something was happening to someone I care about. So I called a close friend of my in my hometown and guess what she had a really bad tooth situation where she had her gums cut etc. Very painful.

Again, similar feeling the night before my father died and today when I felt like something was up and called my mother to check on her and turned out she was really upset.

So I'm totally into intuition and impulsive behaviour now. I say go with it and see where it leads you. I'm trying to follow more in that way.

Any ways of developing it further? I've found being aware of changes in physiolgoy pretty useful.
