| Hello guys, I have been slowly becoming more aware of the energies that are present in our lives over the past year. One of the things I realize is how extremely unaware I was before, and how just a little more awareness may or may have not changed my entire life. One thing I've been struggling with is the ability to integrate what I have learned and practice so far into my daily life. It's like I can meditate and then read a little and then contemplate something, or do something else, and then get into my car, drive somewhere and completely forget about all the energies around us. I know this is normal, and I'm not in turmoil over this, but I just notice it. It's almost like living two separate lives, and I would like it to feel like one. Have any of you guys faced any difficulty integrating psychic belief with your physical life??

It did feel like two worlds and I just wanted to retreat into my beautiful spiritual world. The more I felt like that, the bigger the separation became. Over time I was able to integrate the two worlds just by practicing awareness. Instead of wanting to escape the cold, hard world, I decided to make it a mindfulness practice. I decided to do a living meditation and see everything that happened to me at work as spiritual practice. It took time but it worked. And then magically, I was able to leave that job and start a spiritual livelihood. You sound much more balanced and at ease with it all than I was. I think it is a natural stage in our spiritual growth. Most people on earth live in their lower 3 chakras. When we have a spiritual awakening, we access our upper 3 chakras. Then it becomes necessary to bridge the gap by using our middle chakra, our heart. It takes practice but you sound like you've got a good start. |

| Hi, I can relate to this as well. I actually think that this is one of the greatest challenges (and opportunities for growth) of this human experience on Earth - keeping your awareness of the Divine in you, remembering what you came here to do and who you are, while still functioning effectively in the 3D world – paying your bills, feeding yourself, etc As Awakentransform says, the two worlds don't have to be separate, you can still bring that spiritual awareness that is emerging for you into everything you do, even cooking a meal or paying your bills – you can practice being completely present and in the moment, for example. You can make your life a reflection of who you are as a spiritual being and do everything with love, including your job. Anna

| Thanks for your replies. Anna, I tried working on being completely in the moment, especially in mundane tasks, like brushing my teeth...or working I was eating dinner one night at a friends, and his sister is good at guessing what you are thinking of (like if you make a mental picture and let her guess). We were telling their parents about a camping trip we went on, and this guy drives up to us and asks us if we saw his dog (a pit bull). We were trying to remember its name and I thought "was it Killer? nahhh it was a stranger name than that!" and my friends sister was going through dog names, and she stopped and looked at me and went "...or killer or something" and kept rattling on. I was shocked again, I don't think she did it on purpose, but I think she got it from me (I noticed she looked at me when she said Killer) Then this kid said something I was thinking of at work. Usually, people would say subjects or topics I was thinking of...but never exact words or phrases. That's what's really blowing my mind, and this all started when I tried integrating these experiences into my life. I guess I have telepathic abilities, but what the heck do you do with them?!?
