Default chills all over my body at the morgue

I recently explored an abandoned hospital. When I entered the room labeled "morgue", I immediately got chills over my entire body. I was not worried or creeped out to go visit this room. I was actually looking for it.

It appeared to be a room for doing autopsies, not for storing dead bodies. There were cutting instruments and an operating table.

I'm trying to figure out why this room would give me chills. Again, I was not scared. Another person in the room also felt chills as soon as he walked in.

The people are dead when they enter this room, I thought it would most likely not be their energy; but maybe the spirit resides in the flesh for a while after the body passes. Possibly, the strange energy was left over from the tensions of people doing the autopsies?

Any body have any thoughts or similar experiences.

Yeah, something a bit similar once happened in the British Museum, London. I was there with a friend, looking at the Egyptian collection. I don't know much at all about Ancient Egypt. We were in a good mood, being a bit silly, having a few laughs, stuff like that. We went in a room where there was a big stone thingy-wassaname (?) Then i felt nauseous suddenly and had a tight pressure in my head. I went out of the room, and the feelings went away. I came back to my friend and he said he felt nauseous, and had a sudden headache. And in that room, beside that stone-thing, so did I again. We tested it then, going in and out, and the same things happened (to both of us) We both tuned the feelings in to the stone thing. Then we found out it had runnels carved in it, and had been used, the archaeologists think, for human sacrifice. When we came out we felt ok again. Bit drained and tired.

I get two types of chills:

One is what I call "surface" chills - it feels similar to the effect of having a cool/cold breeze blow over me... goose-pimples, crawly skin, shivery, chills down my spine. I get this in certain places, especially where strange things have happened. I'm not necessarily scared at the time, it's just a physical reaction to whatever energy remnants are there. Sometimes I think my expectations play a part (i.e. when I know of a place's history), kind of like when you anticipate a scary ghost story. But, I've also experienced these when I haven't known of a place's history until afterwards.

The second type is "deep" chills. More difficult to explain - it's a very deep shiver right through my core, and it's accompanied by a very cold feeling (more like I have cold lead running through my veins than the cool breeze sensation above). The first time I had this was when I heard a news report about a missing teenager. I concentrated on her (the sensation doesn't just come, only when I specifically focus my attention on trying to connect with the person), and felt the deep chills as well as a pain in my head. I thought: she's dead and she was murdered either by being hit over the head or by being shot in the head. A couple of days later they found her body and she had been shot in the head. I don't get the deep chill sensation if the person is still alive.

Bluestar - Interesting... is the stone thing still there?

I noticed the same thing in the British Museum around the Egyptian stuff. I visited recently with some friends and around the Egyptian exhibits we suddenly felt really drained and we'd barely been there 5 minutes.

ooh I get the surface chills too... that cold breeze on a specific part of my body. MOST of the time I feel the sensation on my face and neck. But this actually happens in my apartment. I can feel as if there is an energy hovering beside me. I get it a lot in the middle of the night or while lying in bed. I am not sure if these are beings like ghosts or spirit guides/ angels. I've gotten it in different places so I don't think its location-specific.

I get chills pretty constantly, triggered by all sorts of things. Surface chills that is, not the "core" ones.

I'd love to know what it means.. I've read that it has something to do with an energy influx that your chakras are not able to handle so it gets dispersed over the skin or something. And so it would actually be a symptom of having a closed system that needs to be open.

Like you have some parts that open for a moment, allow a surge of energy, and then close again causing the excess energy to disperse over the skin.

For me the two seem separate. The chakra energy is both on the inside and outside. It is a pulsating kind of energy when it is open wide. I've felt chakras from the heart and up but never the three below. I think i need some grounding.

I wouldn't call the other one chills or shivers. I would describe it as a cloud of air or pockets of air brushing against the skin. I may or may not feel chills from that. But the energy itself doesn't feel like chills. Sometimes it feels like a breeze and sometimes like its stagnant. Its always cool. And for me happens only specific parts of the body for ex. right cheek and right side of neck. This feels like an external presence rather than my own energy. The way it would feel is if somebody was standing very close to you but not touching you. I experience this sometimes when I am talking to my guides or angels.

Interesting... I'll have to do some research on this!

Yes, this is how I feel my guides as well. I don't get the shivers when they're around - it's a very comforting, loving presence.
