Anyone get that wierd empty sensation when in the presence of a psychic? Its like they're downloading you're mind and you're unable to think properly. What exactly are they doing? How does one learn to do this? It is my mission to have that power. |

That's just the feeling that is created when a psychic creates a link between his/her mind and yours. Me and my girlfriend feel the same thing when I connect to her mind. I would describe it as a focused state of concentration.

I never thought about it much but I have a psychic that I consult with pretty regularly who is absolutely amazing, and continually blows my mind with his accuracy and insight... Sometimes before a session my mind will be racing with all the things I want to talk about and ask him, but then right when he actually calls, even though I've prepared by meditating, lighting a candle, breathing, etc., I will often draw a big blank. It usually doesn't last that long, because by now we are comfortable with each other and once we get started the conversation just flows, and the session is always exactly what I want and need. I find it helpful to put out the intention prior to the reading that I want to gain some clarity on whatever it may be, and almost always he zeros right in on that intuitively or psychically. I just try to do my best to stay focused and present, and don't worry too much if I have trouble with a visualization or if my mind goes temporarily blank.
