| I've been keeping a dream diary for a few days and I noticed something. Every other day, I remember a dream where I see characters from my favourite anime. I've fought villans alongside with them, I've played them, and I've seen them riding on broomsticks. I decided to keep a mental note that, whenever I see characters from that anime, I should tell myself that I'm dreaming. It sounds very reasonable, but somehow I still don't become lucid. Those anime characters keep on reappearing and I am just not logical enough in my dream to figure out that I'm dreaming. Does anyone have any idea on how can I become lucid in these dreams? |

| Practice. You're doing exactly what you should. At least you're doing exactly what I was taught to do. It was hard - still is actually - for me to have a Lucid Dream at will, but it's getting easier with practice. Recognizing your Dream Signs takes patience and practice. You may already be doing this, but setting your intention prior to going to sleep can also help you maintain a certain level of awareness once you hit the dream state. This can aid you in crossing the veil between Lucid and non-Lucid dreaming. I do this with prayer, but many do it with meditation or even just simply writing their intent in their dream journal. You'll find what works for you if you just have patience. |
