Imagined or real?

I really need to find someone that is knowledgeable in this area that can help me decipher "Fact from Fiction"

Raised to be skeptical of things like this it was somewhat a suprise to me to find that I am much more intuitive that most ... by most, I mean my personal acquaintances and friends....when I mention some of the oddities that have happened along my way they laugh, and jokingly say yeah yea..but it is clear they only take it with a grain of salt. ...

Along my journey enough things have happened that have later been validated that make me believe most is more than just my imagination, yet I do not know how to be sure....how do you know what is really coming from "beyond" and what is your projected imagination run amuck?

A few weeks ago my uncle was killed unexpectedly in an automobile accident.

Upon meditating this morning I tried to clear my mind and just let whatever wanted to fill my head fill it... random things appeared in my minds eye when I saw a silvery silhouette of a mans head surrounded by royal blue light.. Upon closer observance I recognized that it was my uncle... I then could see lots of figures coming through a tunnel and one directed me to follow...Up a staircase I followed...it was a floating staircase, nothing around it..as I came through a foggy cloud like substance...it was like I was looking down on a very small floating piece of land with a large Oak Tree.. I do not know the significance of the tree, but it seemed important... there was my uncle in an incredibly happy gleeful mood... he suddenly saw me and called out his pet name for me and said... look at this! look, I can see everything!..he was very excited about this and grinning from ear to ear.. I asked about my aunt..he replied...Oh yes, I see her too! and the baby! (his daughter is expecting their first child next month) I can see it ALL>>>>>Isn't it GREAT!?...then the connected feeling disappeared and I had other thoughts come and go in my head that were totally unrelated to that experience.

I do not know what to make of this, was it him? was it my imagination....how do you know?

There is so much information out there on these topics but I don't know where to look, who to trust or what to think... Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated.

Trust yourself and how you felt from the experience. Did it feel like you were being guided along or did it feel like you were making it up yourself, internally?

if the former, you were guided to his energy. If the latter, you may have been imagining it. My guess is that it's the former.

Hi Erin, thank you for replying. I do try to be aware in meditation to recognize when my thinking mind is poking it's nosy head in... So, I do not feel I made it up. But I am also aware of the fact that I WANT to know he is ok.

This is not the first time I have been "visited" by dead people... Right before my grandfather passed I had told him I wished for a daughter, he told me I'd get one. A month later he visited me in a dream with a pink giftwrapped box. A week later I found out I was pregnant... with a girl, And her due date was HIS birthday...

I'd like to believe that was my uncle, and would like to share with my aunt and her daughters what I saw, but ..they are skeptics, I don't know that they'd understand.


This sort of thing happens to me on a fairly regular basis... I have been told by two separate psychics on their own that I had intuitive abilities that I would hone in on to help heal others.. they insist I will be able to read auras. It seems odd to me that two separate people would tell me this without my bringing it up...yet I do not see auras. Being raised to NOT believe in this sort of thing, and being surrounded by skeptics on a daily basis does not help. I just don't understand what I am supposed to do with the information that I get..or where to go to get a better understanding.

Seeing auras does nothing for you, reading them will however.

That's probably what they meant. I think it was John Holland who talked about reading auras, how you can see people's energy and read it. That's probably waht you're doing.

As for telling your aunt and her daughters, only you know if it's the right thing to do. Sounds like uncle is doing just fine though. Maybe it's enough that you know that.

Yes, reading them, I am sure that is what I meant to convey..however you must be able to see them to read them? No?

Well you don't have to see an aura with your physical eyes in order to read it. Some people do, some don't. Don't get too hung up on seeing if you don't see auras already.
