I believe that a loved one can contact us after death. Absolutely. I haven't experienced it with a human family member, but when I was younger I had a beloved cat Sammy who died and a while after he died (I guess two months?) he showed up one night, I guess to say goodbye, both my mom and I felt him that night. I actually saw and felt his presence, my mom felt him jump up on her bed and start purring.
Then he left and didn't come back.


When we loose someone we love dearly it is only natural to question death and what happens to the energy of the person who has died. I have had contact with people who have passed all my life so I know through personal experiance that loved ones do come to comfort us.

What is your experiences with your love ones visiting you?

One of my first memories of a loved one visiting me in my dreams was one where my Grandfather was flying outside a window knocking for me to let him in. I was frightened and didn't do it, I couldnt understand why he would be doing that because I believed he didn't love me and that something bad would happen. It was years later when he visited again, only this time I was awake but with my eyes closed. I saw his image and he told me he really did love me but hadn't known how to show it.

More recently I have had an Aunt visit me on several occasions after her death, the first one I was visiting her old house (the one I thought of more as hers than her newer one) and she was sitting with my cousin across the room. My cousin excitedly told me that her mother was there and I told her I knew. I turned to my Aunt with my eyes closed and felt the most incrediable warmth, opening my eyes to see her beckoning to me to come into my cousin's bedroom and showed me a pile of clothing. A couple of days later I found out my uncle had given away all of her clothes.

Another dream I have with her was again at her old house - at the time I was having an old repetitive dream that for some reason this time was set at her house. At one stage I knocked at her front door and she opened the door saying "oh it's only you, I'm expecting someone else". Later I found out that her step-daughter died.

After my Uncle died, I dreamt of both of them looking much younger and very happy.
