advice?

i just stumbled upon this forum from reading some of the astral projection stories. i made an account because i do want to get into it but got lots of concerns etc. i think i got pretty close tonight... i was laying down and i started to see flashes kinda then i hear a voice,( but only a whisper i only understood 2 words, i cant remember them :/ mostly because i didnt plan on telling anyone) fully conscious and then that freaked me out so i stayed awake. would anyone have any similar experiences or any info that could help me under stand who/what it is

I'm sure it was all good!!! Those things seem really scary at first because it's new territory. Keep in there, and I hope someone with some great experience will tune in and give you good advice.

It's like tuning in to a radio frequency you're not used to listening to. Let's say you normally listen to new age music and someone switches your radio dial to Techno music (very fast and sometimes aggressive). At first it can be really startling and new, but if you just listen a little you'll be able to sort it out. It may not be a station you want to listen to, but don't let it startle or scare you.
