I know its almost impossible to interpret a dream of someone you dont know very well, but this dream was also kinda like an OBE i think but i'm not sure. In my dream i was telling people about the weather,it was starting to rain and hail, itl was huge, and i remember saying "It's starting to hail really bad" but then i noticed a strip of blue sky and i said "i can see some blue sky!" And right before i was going to say something else, suddenly a huge bright ring of light appeared in the sky,and i could no longer speak. I was froze, and i stared at the ring of light and soon felt myself being pulled up into the sky,and i knew i was dying and going to heaven, and at first i wasnt sure if i should fight it or what but i quickly realized i wanted to let myself go. So i just laid back and relaxed and then i realized i was dreaming/waking up,cuz i could feel my body vibrating and i was aware that my left hand was dangling off the edge of my bed. I didnt want to wake up though,i wanted to stay in the dream and see where i was going! I kinda felt like i was projecting astrally but i wasnt sure if i was just waking up or what. Then within about 10 seconds i was awake and i was kinda upset that i woke up. So i'm just curious what others think of this experience. |

It definitely means you like me. Death is a great symbol in a dream! It can mean that you are right in the middle of a huge transformation -- letting go of an old way of life that's not working for you, and taking on a whole new way of being. In your dream, with your hail giving way to blue sky, and your bright ring of light, that sounds pretty optimistic to me, doesn't it to you? If this were my dream, I would consider that things are looking up. What do you think? |

I agree with Angela. A few years ago, I had a series of dreams that someone was hunting me down to kill me, but was first killing all my friends and family. I eventually tracked this person down and ended up fighting to the death, which was the last of the series. A month or so later, I quit my job and moved to a new town, and I haven't looked back since! So much has changed for me over the past few years. I was terrified at the time, but now I see it for what it was - a sign of the death of my old life. Although I almost wish I could have had your dream, it sounds altogether more pleasant. On another note, if you feel like your life changing is a good thing, might be time to check out the personal effectiveness and other sections of this forum, for some ideas on how to help it along. |

That brings me to my next question...Astra,did you have to purposely DO anything to bring about these changes? Or did it just happen kinda without you really doing it? Because if that dream meant my life is about to change, then if i don't do something to help it,was it pointless then? Why was it happening now, cant i change my life anytime i want, really? I am really thinking about having one of Erin's readings because i'm totally lost and confused on what steps i need to take,i need someone to tell me before i do it. I wish i could just do things myself but i need to know if they are going to work out or not. I dont want to quit my job of 17 years and lose my apartment if it isn't going to be worth it LOL

I suppose it was a bit of both really - I mean, I had to decide to take the leap. But I was seeing a guy from the new town, who offered for me to stay with him while looking for a job and a new place to live. One of my friends was thinking about moving and took the jump at the same time. My doctor recommended I give up my job as the stress was making me ill, and move closer to the ocean. So, I guess a few subtle hints. Really, I'd been wanting to make the change for a while, so it was probably my subconscious telling me I was almost ready to move forward. Maybe yours is the same - you've been wanting to make changes and feeling like you need to, and your subconscious is telling you that you're ready for the next phase. As for wether you can change your life whenever you want, technically the answer is yes - but you have to be ready and willing to accept the challenges that come with that. Things work out because we make them work out. For example, about two weeks ago, I walked out of my job because I refused to put up with way I was being treated by my colleagues. It was scary to leave with nowhere to go, but I took that jump anyway, and had faith that it would work out ok. Tomorrow I start a new job that is not only more challenging and a better use of my abilities, but pays more. This job didn't just land on my doorstep, I had to go out and look for it. Because I believed I would find something better, I went out and tried to find something better. I didn't know that this would happen, I just had faith in myself that I could make it work. As for if it's worth it, I have another story. Just before I'd left the old town/life behind, I'd saved enough money for a deposit and was considering buying a modest unit. Instead, I decided to use that money to move and support myself whilst searching for a job in the new town. Three years later, the unit I considered buying has doubled in value - I could have made about $90,000. Do I regret it? Not one bit. If I could go back and do it again, knowing what I know now, would I? Not on your life. Because what I have now is worth so much more than all the money in the world. I was so depressed back then, chances are I wouldn't even be around to enjoy the rise in value. |

Thanks for sharing your story Astra! I get what you're saying! I think i am ready for a change too,it's just unfortunate i don't have any money to fall back on like you did, thats the main thing that's keeping me stuck here |

Angela, you are the most infuriatingly positive person I know of. I think all of this dream malarky means nothing. Its just your brain working away whilst you sleep. Its like an analogy of the car stopping, but the engine(brain) cant stop (or you die) so it keeps revving away whilst you sleep. I like dreams though | |
