how can i become lucid in dreams, and how can i hallucinate?

i want to be able to have lucid dreams at will, and i want to have a hallucination, without using shrooms or lsd.

Hello. Just wanted to introduce myself to the list. I'm interested in metaphysics, spirituality, self development, dreams, etc.

There are a lot of books about lucid dreams and out of body experiences. For myself, I have had limited success with any set techniques I have tried. It seems that I try too hard to do it right, which actually keeps it from happening!

I have experienced many lucid dreams and out of body experiences when I wasn't trying. I find that when I am meditating regularly and doing energy work, it is more likely to occur.
