Why is the spirit world cold

I'm curious why people experience chills when spirits are present or report temperature drops. Perhaps, this is a silly question, I seem to have a silly mind tonight.

When I think of the spirits of people that I have known, I feel immense warmth. If I was ever to meet their spirit in the physical world, it seems contradictory that they would come with a coldness.

I am convinced saw my deceased father in a dream/vision , and there was no hair standing on end... or chills or temperature change period.... the experience left me with imense oneness and love and warmth

I watch paranormal state on tv, and whenever the team investigates homes that have spirits they use this machine and they note temp drops as well when a spirit is present...... good question though, I do not know the answer to that maybe someone else has one for us

I dont know the answer either,but i would guess that it's maybe because ghosts dont have physical bodies anymore which is the only way to give off body heat...i mean,if something isn't ALIVE it wouldn't give off the same warm vibration that a living human body has. Or maybe anything that is from another plane is just another temperature just because of that? lol I realize i am making myself sound more stupid by just guessing.

First. let's get that we're talking about two different things.

The "spirits" that cause colds spots are entities that are attempting to manifest either themselves or some action in the Tonal world. This requires Tonal energy. Since they are not Tonal beings, they must draw that energy from the matter around them. This manifests to us as "cold spots."

The feeling you get when you connect with your Allies, Guides and Ancestors, is a Spiritual connection and therefore does not require Tonal energy.

But all in all, the Spirit World, or the Nagual, is not "cold". Neither is it "hot". It exists without temperature as we understand it.

I have to be honest though, I have no idea why our skin tingles or we feel "vibrational" when our Allies, Guides and Angels are present. I just know that "tingling sensation" is a key to me that I'm not alone and that my prayers are being heard.

Thank you, Mato Kinze. Your explanation sits well. I find the tingling comforting. The chills I have experience normally have some fear attached.

Apologies in advance. Im a bit of a sceptic admittedly. Ive not looked up how people try to contact spirits, though now im curious lol. However, i did once many years ago see if i could feel my wifes presence without touching her. Nothing conclusive at all....

However people do seem to have different reactions. As i imagined feeling her presence it felt cold to me. The closer i focussed on it the colder it got until it felt like a solid wall. She on the other hand said it felt hot and stopped, saying it was too hot and she couldnt breathe.

Personal perspective now is that it doesnt prove anything. It may be a psychological or physical thing, but people i would guess pick up on cold or heat sources strongly.
