years ago, as a teen, I had been fasting and meditating (i was an odd teen) and reading a bunch of spiritual books and was "in the zone". I felt great inner peace, calm and love. I was walking to the bus stop and there was a lady walking about three paces in front of me.

I heard her say something as clear as day.

"Excuse, me." I said. I was confused because she was talking but her lips were not moving.

She turned and acknowledged, "I didn't say anything."

Maybe she was a vintriliquist. All I know is I saw her mouth NOT MOVING yet she spoke clear as day. Sounded like a babbling crazy woman.

Twice I heard voices when I lived there. Once I was with my brother, and when I remind him of it he gets really quiet. The other time I was alone. Neither time did the voices threaten, they wanted to talk. The voices sounded like children and wanted to be included in what I was doing. (I'm getting goosebumps writing this). I never engaged the voices, I was too scared. The other thing was nightmares. I would have the most terrifying nightmares when I lived there. My dreams were literally taken over, and in the dreams I was fighting a possession. The one thing I remember about the dreams is that I would try to scream, but I had no voice. I would literally wake up trying to scream.

It continues. Most people who are close to me can pick up on thoughts that I "throw". It's something I would do when I was little and wanted to get my way. I'd believe a thought to be solid (usually a ball) and imagine throwing it into another person's brain. A few seconds later, they'd say exactly what I wanted them to say. I did it twice, quite accidently, this week and my dog nipped at me both times.

The next thing has to do with lights. When I get very anxious, angry or upset and am out for a drive. I'll have streetlights go out at the same time I pass under them. Not just one. I've literally had four or five go out as I passed under them. My friend Jeff was with me once when it happened and asked if I was using "the force". I want to think this is coincidental because only once has a light in the house acted in this manner. That happened when I was twelve. My parents were having a real big blow-out. My older brother got involved. I was standing under the kitchen light, and the thing exploded. Not just the bulb, the entire glass fixture blew to pieces. I was right under it and of course my parents thought I was badly hurt. Not a scratch. In fact, the small kitchen was filled with the whole family and no one got hurt. No one even stepped on a piece of glass. The fighting stopped immediately. We couldn't figure how it happened. But I remember apologizing for it.

The last thing I'm going to leave with isn't at all scary. It's loving. My mother was very sick, and was in the hospital. She'd just been transferred to another hospital with a better cardio/respitory ICU. Her cardiologist told me that she wasn't going to make it through the night. That night I visited her, but I was a gold orb, I was as big as the hallway, I had a gold string that went back to my body, and I wrapped my self around my mother like a blanket. I am usually a very light sleeper, but the nurse was physically shaking me awake asking me if I was Jim. I said I was. She said my mother wanted to see me. When I went to see her she asked if I was in her room that night. I wasn't. The doctors were so busy attending to her after the transfer that I wasn't allowed into the ICU. But I recognized everything and knew exactly which room my mother was in. I didn't intend this to happen, I just wanted to do something to help her. A few years later when she did die, I wasn't in the hospital. She told me earlier that week she'd send me a sign. Around the same time that she died, I was driving to a friend's to get a shower and a break from the hospital. As I was driving a deer walked in front of my car. I stopped. The deer, a big doe, looked right at me, held my gaze, and then walked off into the woods. I knew at that moment that my mother had died.

My wife thinks that I should explore these elements, but I have to say it scares me. I don't even want to go near a Tarot deck. I guess it's because I sense an immense power there, but know nothing about it. I can't manipulate things, otherwise I'd win the lottery. But sometimes I get a really strong feeling (sometimes it's a clear picture or deja vu moment)about outcomes, before they happen. I guess I want to learn more about this, but at a safe distance.

As far as the ball trick is concerned you're throwing whats called thought forms dude.It can be reversed as well by silencing the mind and asking the person a question in you're mind. The immediate answer is always correct
and is usually nothing like what you expect but I have found it to always be the truth.A persons subconcious will always speak the truth because it cannot tell dream from reality.All the best

I'm another one who won't go near an Ouija board again. Too many scary experiences to go into, suffice to say that I think there must be better ways to contact Spirit.

I too, have had the streetlight phenomenon. And of course, when I mention it to anyone, they think I'm crazy... lol

I have been very connected since I was a child. I have been scared out of seeking knowledge about his since I was about 15 years old. I am now 53. My daughter sees and knows my gifts and believes I have ignored my abilities. The truth is I used to use a Oujia board when I was a teenager and I believe am called to use it again. I do not want to anger God I love Jesus and believe I am a christian, but I can't ignore this side of truth.

I did have bad spirts come through the board when I was young. I was taught that this is evil and is a sin. I thought that it must be true when evil came through. But, At the time, I was living in an evil place with fighting and abuses. I thought that the board is evil, but after visiting this sight I have come to think that evil was drawn to the board because evil was in my home. I hated my father and I drew hate into the board. I have forgiven my father although when he died I had wanted him dead. When he was on the operating table I didn't want him to wake up and he didn't. My pain ended that day. Or so I thought. It only brought on another kind of pain. I forgive my father and pray he forgives me for having such horrible thoughts. I hope he is very happy now. He wasn't when I knew him.

I am thinking that I can use the oujia now since my journey and desire is to be like God. I do not ever want to be separated from God and I desire to connect closely with his "angels" as we call them. thank you Erin. I have sought answers and the past two days I claimed my miracle answer from God and I believe your web site is it. I will following my calling. I would like to tell all the spirits that used to visit me that I am going to go forward and learn. I know now because of what I read That I must keep my vibrations up. Evil thoughts and wrong doings of any kind will hurt that.

I do have one fear with going forward and that is God. I do not want to displease him. I love him and want to be with him in heaven one day.

Unless, of course, you touch the antenna itself, at which time reception will become crystal clear (not sure but I think this might even be very normal).

I had a relationship with a Ouija board once. It lasted a few months. My friend and I were curious. (we didn't know how to bless, cleanse or seal a board..we just jumped on a drove it..like most people do.) Bad things came thru. Also like others, when we were at the planchette, her mother would ask a question of her daddy, and get an answer that only her mother would have known the answer to. This happened for a few bystanders thru time, and seemed pretty impresive. Unfortuneately, something dark and possessive did come thru and began to effect physical things around us.

When we opted we had enough and it was time to destroy the board (not knowing how to properly dispose of one) This thing would not catch fire. No matter what we tried. It was pretty scarey. For years I avoided any deliberate taunting, or going to the paranormal or spirit world, out of the fear the Ouija instilled in me.

Now, I use tarot, pendulum, runes, angel oracle, and many other divination tools. Even tho I have picked up on how to properly use an Ouija and cleanse and bless it and know about vibrations and do not feel as fearful of otherworldly things...I WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER TOUCH ANOTHER OUIJA AGAIN. (Tho, I have been tempted to pick up something called a "witchboard"...pretty much the same thing..but optimistic that if I ever do go to another board, that it will not end the way the first uneducated and unprotected timeframe of experience went for me. )

My girlfriends and I were young girls, 9 years old, when we decided to grab my older sister's board and mess around with it. When we would ask for a name, it would always spell out the word "Foal." After watching the movie The Exorcist, I decided not to play with it anymore. Didn't really get much information from it when we did play. I assume it was because my mom's house was like living in Catholic Church.

Hi , signed up cause i just pondered into that thread. Iv had the same situation a few years ago in my dream. I was on rail tracks, i wasn't tied up there or anything(as i remember), and the train was coming for me. I think they were the same tracks that are like 1,2km of my home. I was on the intersection or whats it called in english, the place where road crosses the tracks. And i could barely move, i saw the train coming far away and i tried to crawl away (i was in prone position) but i think i couldnt move myself, or i could barely move myself. So when i stopped trying i screamed for help, i screamed as loud as i could, mouth was totally open, but words just didnt come out, i was shocked that words didnt come out, it was really frightening and realistic, so i though like what the **** and tried again, nothing came out of my mouth. I dont remember anything further from that. I dont know if it was a nightmare or not but it felt different from normal nightmare. Maybe thats why i still remember it.
Anyone have any suggestions what could it been, some spiritual stuff or?
I sorta believe in afterlife, i believe that souls travel from one to another but i dont believe in christ.
BTW: In my country noone cares what do you beleive, and most DONT believe in christ or not. Like from my school only few person's go to church (~700ppl in school or so). Kinda funny part is the bullies of our school make jokes of the people who believe in christ o.O

This is real wierd, prob nothin, but I have a relaxin evenin to myself today an wanna read a good book or play my ds like a big kid but instead get this urge to start reading stories about Ouija Boards which I have been doing for the last hour.

Ive never done one, never want to and only heard a few stories about them which weren't good.

To top it off I want to open a tab for this forum which I have saved as a shortcut, I have no idea why I would want to as I take a look at this forum maybe once or twice a week and had already looked today.

Anyway I decide to open the tab and what just happens to be the second top discussion on the first page? - Anyone have any interesting Ouija board stories.

i won't touch one either....had a very, very negative and frightening experience when i was in my early teens and i know i opened up myself to negative entities at a very vulnerable stage i my life that affected me for years and years.

i also much later in life danced on the periphery of a life that was affected by some true religious power fighting against someone who was supposedly using ancient biblical spells on a person in my life.

i am at once drawn to this type of thing and terrified at the same time....but after many years, i have learned where the true spiritual power lies for me.

Pretty new to this stuff but I can't help but remember the story that my mother told me about her grandmother. The story goes like this, my great grandmother was playing with Ouiji board by herself, when she was a young girl (somewhere in her mid teens). The story if a bit fuzzy now, this is a generational story, but whatever entity this was told my grandmother about someone in their neighborhood who would die soon, I mean it gave the name of the person and everything. This entity was very forthcoming with information, and my mother told me that her grandmother told her that after that she was a bit shocked and frightened, so she just wanted to ask one more question. All the fun and excitement of asking this entity about who your going to end up marrying, and so on made my great grandmother forget to ask this entity the most basic question of all, "What's your name?" The answer just simply came back, "Legion," and that was it.

My great grandmother didn't know what Legion meant or if it was even a person, but as she got ready to go to sleep that night she opened her Bible Bible, since she was a devout Catholic...

(I know the irony of a religious person using a Ouiji board, but most people think it's a silly toy! I mean go to your nearest ToyStore they're selling Ouiji Boards right next to Checkers and Monopoly!)

...and began reading. I don't know which part of the Bible she stumbled upon but it had to of been either Mark 5:9:

The Gospel of Mark 5:9, describes the following in the country of the Gadarenes:

"And He (Jesus) asked him (the man), "What is thy name?" And he answered, saying, "My name is Legion: for we are many.

or she stumbled upon Luke 8:30 where it said:

The Gospel of Luke, Luke 8:30, describes the following in the country of the Gadarenes:

"And Jesus asked him, saying, "What is thy name?" And he said, "Legion": because many devils were entered into him."

So basically Legion is the name for a large group of demons, reading this my great grandmother threw out the Ouiji Board and never sought communication with those entities again.

Welcome to the forum oortkuiper . The quiija board is not a toy . If one does use one it should be done in the proper way. I dont think I would trust any info. I got from one any way. A spirit can lie saying there a demon, a legion ,the devil or what ever . desert rat

used to use them alot when i was in my teens, i never had any bad experinces with them, i used to feel a cold breeze blowing through the glass onto my finger.

i used to smoke back then and when i had a cig i used to exhale the smoke onto the board, it used to hit the boards surface stay there then quickly rise back upwards, as if an energy was pushing it away from the board, normal smoke when hitting a surface wouldnt do that.
i used to love them.

Hi, the light dim up and down in our house when there is cracking sounds in the walls...coincidence.. not sure
I made an interesting ouija that I could rub off the writing to hide it from my husband.
I placed contact over a laminate board and a friend told me where the writing should go.
The board actually got hot when I continually moved my palms over it. I'm a newbie and didn't get much other than faces appearing as flashes and I probably let in some of the low level nasties as thats when the cracking in the walls started. Haven't used it since cos I'm not well practiced in protecting myself and who knows what comes in.

I really want to try the Oujia board, but since my mom is religious and she know its for contacting spirits but in her definition "If you use it, it opens up a hole in where the bad spirits come thru and will haunt you forever......" something like that........

even thou she told it to me like that, I want to still use it cause I know nothing is bad at first and if it is bad, in time there's a chance it might change to good.....

btw ive hear that theres like an angel board, althought its basically the same thing just made to sound that you will only have contact with good spirit which is false...
