| Last night, the school where I will be taking my course in spiritual healing hosted a 2 hour medium demonstration. There were approximately 30 people in the audience and three mediums up front. Two of the mediums transmitted messages, while one of the mediums drew portraits of people she saw. After her portraits were complete the other two mediums would tune into the energy and relay messages from that person. Anyway, the mediums did not consciously read for specific people in the audience, but rather tuned into the energy in the room, gave a description of what they were connecting with and then asked the audience if anyone could accept or understand the information which was coming forward. It was very interesting because in every case there was someone who understood what message was coming across and could accept the information being offered. The mediums also took care and used great detail to describe the deceased they were communicating with. Anyway, my question to the resident psychics is: In a group of 30, what factors determine who in the group receives a message? Is there some pushing and shoving going on in the ether? Or do the "most important" messages get through first? I ask because some of the people in the audience seemed like while they could accept and understand what was coming across it didn't carry any great weight for them in terms of living their lives (of course, my judgment from the outside may be innaccurate). I am also wondering if it is right to assume that if no message came through for me last night, that there is nothing I need to know which is of importance at the moment because otherwise it would have come through? | Good question. First, what I've noticed when I attend group medium readings is that the information coming through is usually validative but not particularly life changing. The deceased are not guides, they're not part of your guidance committee, so when they make contact it's to say, 'Hey, I'm still here, I made it, and I love you." They don't usually offer much in the way of life advice. To me personally I prefer a psychic reading where the psychic tunes in to the guides. I already know my relatives are fine. To answer your first question... I've never done a group medium reading though this is something I want to try. But yeah, that's how they do it. They tune in to the deceased energy, get some details from them, and ask if anyone is connected with them. That's the exact opposite of how an individual reading is done. With an individual reading you tune in to the person and see if there is anyone around them. In a group reading, no deceased person may come through for you, just like when I do an individual reading, sometimes there is no deceased person coming through. Doesn't mean there's nothing you need to know if your deceased loved one doesn't come through. That sort of info is passed on through your guides. It might mean they just have nothing to say or don't think you need their contact. Or they might be busy at a heavenly potluck

I never thought so much could be said and touched upon in half an hour's time. Many of the key areas that I was stuck in have been cleared up. The value I got was way beyond my expectations." - Maarten in Belgium |
