Default lucid dreaming

Hi I have been waking up for a week or so midway before time for me to get up. I lay there and will usually go back to sleep, in a hour or less. And I am really tired when it's time for me to get up. I really don't remember much of any dreams. And I try to set up a dream ideas I would like to have. Like winning a lot of money. But no luck, any thoughts as to what to try in my mid night, up for no reason time frame. TIA Freddy

hello, just to give some background i had 3 lucid dreams in the last month n half which is how long ive been trying.

personally i dont do that stuff where u get up n chill for an hour or anything, i have an odd schedule, im not a morning person so i go sleep around 3am, wake up by alarm at around 8-9am, go back sleep untill about 2-3pm.

i never kept a dream log, but what i did instead was as soon as i wake up from a dream, recap the dream in my head a couple of times whilst in bed still. its been easy for me because i live a chilled out life style, i think its harder when ur rushing around n stuff, tryna get to skool or work or w/e u do, in my own experiance the most stessfull year of my life i didnt recall a single dream, i even started believe i had lost the ability to dream, now i have at least a couple vivid dreams every day.

as for lucid dreams u just gotta be good at picking up cues, i suck at this, when something totally unreal happens, instead of realising that it is a dream, i just get exited in my dream.

peace, i hope i helped.

Hi Freddy,

It may help to clarify the purpose behind what you desire to dream about. To learn dream focus requires that you get a sense of your intent and motives.
In order to learn to exert more control during your dreams, it is useful to get a sense of what you want to materialize or happen (and why) while awake.

Before you go to sleep, you can tell yourself, "I will remember my dreams." Write down what you remember when you wake up, before you get out of bed. Training your mind is a process. You can learn. Its a question of patience, having the will and taking action.
