No spirit guide or guardian angel?
 

I know I have spirit guides and angels but another experienced astral projectionist claims that she has no spirit guide or even guardian angels at all. I would assume that as an astral projectionist, you would definitely know if you had at least one of these but she says that she really doesn't have them. My question is this, is it possible to be without a guardian angel (I guess you could with a spirit guide, but I'm unsure why you would), not even having one even assigned to you?

She may not be detecting them. I have not met anyone so far that was without guides. I don't always detect a person's guardian angel, but then I usually only see angels when someone is in emotional crisis.

Astral projection doesn't automatically mean you can connect with your guides. Different planes, different frequencies.

In my case I struggled for years to get in touch with my guides, until it finally dawned on me that I was hearing and feeling them just fine. They were just so intimately close to me and had been with me for so long that I thought it was my own mind chatter.

When I finally learned to distinguish between the two, one thing that really stood out was that when requesting guidance, it was almost always the first voice that was coming from my guide(s). The more I thought out and wrestled a situation, the more my logical mind took over and consequently I was getting farther away from the voice of true guidance.

No Spirit Guide
 

My girl friend is learning to use her skills as a medium. She can see everyone's spirit guide and communicate to them at a certain level. Her mother does not have a spirit guide with her. She never has. My girl friend started to develop her talents with the help of her Grandfather, who has now passed on. He visits regularly and my girl friend can communicate with him easily. When she asks him about her mum and spirit guide he doesn't say anything.

When ever her mum goes for a reading the person who is giving the reading will only give basics. Everytime after they have given the basics they ask my girl friends mother to leave. Why is this? I thought everyone has a spirit guide but my girl friends mother clearly doesn't. Can anyone shed any light on this?

The psychic asks the mom to leave? How odd. That strikes me as really odd. I would love to check this out myself. If your girlfriend's mom is willing, send me a photo and I'll take a look and tell you if there is a guide there. You've got me really curious. I have never read for someone who didn't have a guide.

I have read for someone who had an ego-fear-based guide who was trying to prevent me from seeing anything. That was a first. But he still had a guide.

I will try and do that thank you. My girlfriend has spoken to her spirit guide about it and they are not really giving much away. We ask if her mums spirit guide is there but just hiding and they don't answer with a firm Yes or No!.

Can it be that (even unknowingly) the mum is blocking the guides from the psychic?
If she can ignore the guides herself, could she possibly 'drown out' those voices to others trying to reach out?

Maybe her mum's guides are waiting for her mum to connect with them herself rather than giving her personal power away to others.

I come across people from time to time who have no team of Spirit Guides assigned to them. It can happen a number of ways. There are Souls who seek to protect themselves by using a shell device (complicated to explain, won't go into it here) and the unfortunate side effect is that the Soul sometimes so effectively disguises itself that its own Guide team can't find it.

I've also come across several Souls who have had trouble transitioning appropriately after death. Instead of truly crossing, they merely transitioned into the astrals and reincarnated immediately. They didn't really transition with the guidance of their Guides (number of different reasons, but usually it's a Soul choice at a certain level). The Guides move on, but the Soul doesn't - and then reincarnates without a Guide team assigned. Essentially, the Soul doesn't take full advantage of the spiritual assistance given at crossing, and then also doesn't receive the assistance it normally would ...

Sounds complicated (it can be!) but all this to say that YES, Souls will occasionally be "missing" their Spirit Guides. It's a sad situation, and those people will usually feel alone or unsupported at times. Good news is that we can reassign Guides ... at least, that's what I do in my work.

Oh, I should add to that situation that while there are no Guides personally assigned to that Soul - you know, those Guides that serve us and no-one else - that this doesn't mean that spiritual guidance isn't available. Those people could request assistance and very well receive it, since there are practically unlimited numbers of positive (unfortunately, sometimes also negative) entities available to assist us, both Guides and Angels.
