i remember this morning, i started to go into a wild, but then it felt like my head was tilted forward a little, so i tried to move it back, and i felt it moving, then crack crack!!!!!!i heard and felt 2 enourmous cracks and i thought i had just broke my neck, so i tried to move, but i couldnt,till i thought, i must move and i did, so i woke up and i checked my neck and its fine. any replies or explanations?

Haven't had one yet, but I've heard descriptions of popping and cracking noises as people "break free" of their bodies, so it sounds like you're on the right track.

I've had one once, but it was from eating magic mushrooms. I ate a quarter of shrooms, the most I've ever eaten, and went into my room, shut off the lights, and listened to The Beatles "Love" cd over headphones. Towards the end of the cd (may have been during "all you need is love") I felt a crazy pressure at the top of my head and it felt like I was being "born" out of the top of my head. Very strange and hard to explain but next thing I knew I was looking down on myself, I could see myself sitting on my bed with headphones on. It was crazy and I loved it! Then I realized I could "tune" in and out of all of my different senses to pay more attention to them individually or collectively, however I wanted. I also realized I could tune out of this "reality", and I did but I didn't know how to "tune" towards anything else, so I was just like floating almost, existing in this grey static. I can't remember everything about that, but I remember at one point I felt the center point where all my senses met to form "the experience" and it was the best feeling I've ever felt. Like blissfull energy from all of my sense sensations rushing through me. Hard to explain but I'll never forget it. Awesome night, and I can't wait to eat mushrooms again.

thats freakin groovy! i so support your methods man, i dont do hallucianagens or any drugs, but my freinds and family do, and they sure do seem to like it, but im not even gonna try because thats what caused my mom to go insane. but now, after asylums and rehab, shes off drugs and better.

You were very close. That cracking sound is typical. It sounds like you were about to lift out and lost focus at the startling sound.
