Talking 1st lucid dream

had a couple about 4-5 years ago
today i had my first lucid dream since i started trying 4 days ago [3 nights sleep]

it was odd as most of my dreams are until i was jailed for being out late which still didn't bother me, but then when i was taken to jail as soon as i was arrested it triggered my lucidity or whatever its called, the first thing i did was try to fly, i was unsuccessful but i was jumping 3 times higher, then i tried my strength, i was able to bend the fences and stuff like that, i didn't try and change the scene in fear that i might just wake up.

i need some help
, how do i have more control over it? did anybody else experience lack of control when they first started? are there any techniques used in the dream to do certain things?

Lightbulb ya

i sure did, and i still have alot of trouble flying, but the key is focus, you have to focus all youre attention on what you want to do, and youll do it, in a lucid dream. but i recently havent been having any lucid dreams, any tips?

Congratulations!

I'm not really an experienced lucid dreamer, as I haven't had a lucid dream since 2006, but I recommend you to check out LD4All.com. Check out their guides and the forums for more help.

I've had several experiences. Focus is definitely important, but also believing that everything is possible and that you're the one in charge is very important When I had my first lucid dream, I instantly was like, "WOW! I'm dreaming! I can do whatever I want!" and off I was flying around

Oh the good old days. If only I could recall dreams better!

Hey Congratulations,
I have lucid dreams sometimes, but it was never of this type.I mean I am not able to control.
For me it is just like i am floating. I am almost always flying in all my lucid dreams.
It feels great though.

Good luck to you.
bye,
faraz
