2012 is now!

It seems that there was a mistake in the astrological readings before. So coming days (today or monday, not to sure), there will be a unique astrological formation, where there is a cross formed from aligned planets.

So that means that 2012 is now, instead of 2012 (makes sense?). Anyways did you hear about this, and what do you expect?

Me personally I'm open to whatever will happen, but I'm not expecting something to special. I hope it will though, we need some excitement!

Well, considering the time thing, it has come and gone already and is taking place right now, in a manner of speaking.

I hadn't heard of the planetary thing although I am interested in astrology. But I do think that there's an area of influence in such things, like plus or minus the actual event.

Who knows what will happen...it's very possible we won't notice it. Perhaps a single special child is born...perhaps our DNA changes subtly...perhaps the poles reverse and physical existance ends for us.

At any rate, some people probably are, and will be, frightened. No use in that, I think.

Wouldn't it be cool if we would just woke up the next day and be non-physical?!

Most navagational equipment does not use the earth's magnetic field because there are many " magnetic anomolies " that cause compasses not to point due north. Geomagnetic reversals are common ( on geological time scales ) occuring on average once every 200,000 years. From geological evidence ( magnetic fields " frozen " in old rocks ) it appears that the reversal process itself takes approximately 1,000 years, so the effects of a pole reversal would not be noticeable in your lifetime. The evidence also suggests that during this period, the Earth's magnetic field decreases in strength by a factor of 5 or so.

No, it would'nt. i personally enjoy having a physical body for whatever amount of time i get to keep it. i will have the rest of eternity to be without it, so i'd like to keep it for a while longer, thank you very much.

Naw, I like this life pretty well. Got a lot to learn yet. Like the other fella says, time enough for that. Don't worry, one day you'll wake up non-physical...don't need 2012 for that, lol. But I believe we get multiple chances so either way it's all good.

I have seen references to possible sudden, cataclysmic pole reversals which would create havoc in terms of losing the shielding from cosmic rays, etc. and not be too conducive to carbon-based life forms.

Anyhow breakfast was excellent this morning.

Very interesting. Being a Fool, it makes my head hurt, but scanning it with the proper attitude makes me feel good. Of course I did have a few things I wanted to do before being "harvested", but what the heck.

It seemed the miscalculation was made in the medieval times. The maya calender is referring to a certain alignment astrological wise. And the calculation was made to be in 2012, but instead it's at this moment.

Doomsday has been predicted as far back as we have records. The myans were not the first nor the last to do this.

Very interesting read on cults, end time visions, preachers that are still preching today about the end . Not saying there will never be an end,
but a lot of people today on TBN have been known for changing the end time arrival dates when they come and go. Every generation thinks they are the last one, all through history.

I don't see 2012 as doomsday though, I do believe there are some energetic changes, but those are always present in some degree. I just wonder what exactly is to be expected.

Do you know what the astrological formation is? I was looking at the zodiac a few days ago, and was absolutely amazed by what was going on, but I'm not sure if it is indicative of the events that's supposed to go down 2012 style. Maybe just another time of feelin' good!

The world, the universe, time and space...it will all evolve when it is supposed to...whether we are ready for it or not. If a big, giant asteroid or something else is going to hit us, then it's going to hit us. Plain and simple. Your opinion of the incident is of no consequence. If it's a global killer...then it is because it's supposed to be.

All these people are hoarding supplies and making plans about where to go to hide from it. But the truth is that if the world were to end, there will be no way to run from it. i mean, really. Where are you going to go???

i say stop wasting your time over analyzing an event you have zero control over, and enjoy whatever time you do have, be it just over 4 years, or another 80 ( or until you die however you were meant to ). What happens to the world after you are gone is not your concern. You won't be here to be affected by it anyways, and even if you hate the thought of future generations having to suffer through it...once again, your opinion of future events won't change what is meant to be.
