| Hey everyone, I had a certain image in a dream that I am unsure about. I'm currently going through a lot of health problems, mostly with my GI tract. But it one of my dreams, I was shown an image of my upper lungs, and they were dotted with red and black. The person who was showing me the image was explaining that my lungs are the cause of my health issues. I used to smoke, but I quit in June. Also, my lung collapsed when I was 17, but it is fine now. But the image was very clear and it has been stuck in my head for days. I was wondering, do you think that the image actually meant something? Could the dream have been an early warning? Thanks for your help. -Brian |

| Brian - You're just very bright, and you have a vivid imagination. Your dream means that you have the ability to harbor vivid thoughts and concerns about your general well-being, and you manifest them in your sleep. Be thankful you're working with such a good brain. Allow it to channel the positive thoughts to the rest of your body. You'll be feeling better in the GI tract soon too. Congrats on giving up smoking! Think good thoughts. Mitch |

| Mitch, Thanks for the reply. I was once told by a psychic that I have an EXTREMELY powerful imagination, so it makes a lot of sense that you mention it. I've been trying to think positive thoughts and use the law of attraction to manifest better health. I just hope it begins to filter down into my cells to begin healing. Thanks for the explanation, -Brian

| I have a dream I'm bringing only good things to a huge group of people. Waves of positive energy envelop the crowd, and somehow I'm connected; maybe I'm not the source of it, but I'm very much in it nevertheless. It's really a pleasant dream and it's recurring more frequently. I can rest easy knowing I will fall into it whenever I close my eyes. Life is good. Mitch |

| Perhaps it was a sign, a guidepost if you will. Could you use it to find out what you could do for your lungs to make them healthier? Perhaps you could find suppliments to take that target that area of the body. Do training exercises designed to strengthen the lungs. Go outside more often, or out into the country for some fresher air. Move to an area with cleaner air. Buy an air cleaner for your house to get some of the dust out. See a doctor about possible tissue damage from the smoking. Just some ideas. Think what the red and black dots/specks could mean and find out what actions you could take to correct them. I think it's definately a pointer to something you need to do. |

| In the dream the black and red dots were definitely tissue damage. I live in an area with good, clean air. Although I could use an air purifier. I remember in the dream that I was thinking..."The whole time all I needed was a chest x-ray". And the dream kind of made me want to get one, but I really have no medical reason for it. And honestly my lungs feel fine, so I'm not sure if I should pursue it any further. -Brian

| I think positive is right, it seems definitely like a anxiety dream....at least to start with..I'll give the symbols a go Obviously you are Really focused on finding the answer....and in the dream you find relief by having the chest xray....so the clues are that you need to see through something/see it for what it is (xray)....look somewhere else (chest is defiantly not your GI track) So your subconsciousnesses reply was, look somewhere else that has been damaged...see through the situation For me I had IBS for a bit....brought on by stress So maybe you really do need to look elsewhere? i.e. non physical causes (emotions, state of mind, thought patterns)? breath is intimately linked to life....lungs with the flow of life in/out....perhaps then its todo with how accepting you are of your current life circumstances? Maybe thats too far of a jump...what do you think? |

| This was an interesting post. In traditional Chinese medicine, physical problems are correlated with energy blockages --- excess, stagnant or deficient qi in certain areas; an energy blockage that remains will over time express itself as a physical issue. Also, as far as qi is concerned, the large intestine is connected to the lung system, meaning that a qi blockage in the lungs could conceiveably result in physical symptoms in the intestine. I would say trust your instincts on this. If something about this dream felt authentic, follow up on it. See what you can do about strengthening and balancing your body's energy --- yoga, qigong, Reiki, etc. (when done properly) all work with the energy body. Best of luck to you! Quote:

| There seems to be so many different ways to interpret the dream. It is entirely possible that there is damage there, or somewhere else. It also could have to do with how accepting I am of my life's circumstances. I say this because I'm not entirely happy with my life's circumstances because I'm not in great health. I also think it could be an energy blockage. I am attuned for Reiki, and I don't always use it when I should. But I remember when I was being attuned, the Reiki Master told me that I not only had blockages in my chakras, but I also had damage in my aura. She couldn't attune me that day because all of that stuff had to be cleared. So after a week she was able to attune me. But I was attuned in October of 2006, so it has been a while, and I'm sure there are blockages and damage in my aura again. So I think I will make sure to give myself Reiki at least once a day and see if that helps. Thanks for reminding me about the energy aspect! -Brian
