My father passed away a month ago and at his service I touched his hands while he lay in his coffin and felt like something jolted me. Not to sound too dramatic, but it was as if some spiritual force jumped from him to inside of me. Does anyone here have a similar experience or any kind of explanation?

Did you kinda feel the jolt run down your backbone? Sort of like an electric shock?

Yes, only not quite like electricity but a boost of energy throughout my whole body.

At first, just an odd, unknown feeling..then I felt comfort and I felt proud that it had happened to me since I am one of the most skeptical people when it comes to this sort of thing and it was so unexpected.

He was probably present in spirit form as it was his funeral, and when you touched him he may have taken taht opportunity to touch you from his plane, and it felt to you like this jolt. I imagine it would feel startling and also very pleasant as he was probably sending you his love.
