Demons, evil entities.... I'm SCARED TO DEATH!

Ok, you can all call me a chicken/*****/*insert adjective that describes non-bravery here*, or anything you like, but the stuff I'm learning from different sources regarding the esoteric and the occult is scaring me to death!

I know that OBEs/Astral travel or however you wanna call it is real - I've had a few experiences, even though they were extremely short and I snapped to my body almost immediately.
I've read books on OBEs and the two books I've read didn't mention Demons or any evil entities at all! None of the people in those books had any contact with negative entities at all.
But then I started reading another book, and at the same time started reading Erin's blog and the picture these out of body explorers paint is very different - it's sort of like a war going on between evil and good on the astral plane... it's like demons/incubuses/whatever are in abundance out there and they've got a thing for people with a low vibrational frequency..

I've never had any demons attacking me in my life and they aren't attacking me now either (how do you know anyway?), but I'm scared to death they are going to attack me in the future.... (I've never actually seen a demon or been attacked, I'm just afraid of the possibility of an attack)

Well, the theory doesn't really matter anyway.... the only thing I'd really love is for you people to tell me something that could calm me down.... I'm a nervous person with a low energy frequency anyhow.... and now DEMONS could posess me while I'm sleeping or attack me or something scary like that (I don't even dare try OBEs now, the only thing I'm petrified of is the entities attacking me in my sleep) - and the fact that demons could attack me because I'm in a low energy frequency JUST LOWERS MY FREQUENCY EVEN MORE, BECAUSE I'M SCARED TO DEATH THINKING ABOUT IT!!! SO THE MORE I'M AFRAID THE MORE I'M ATTRACTING DEMONS, WHICH IN TURN MAKES ME MORE AFRAID!!

How the hell can I be sure a demon won't posess me? How the hell can I know something won't attack me while I'm sleeping?
But why would they attack me anyway? There are lots of people with low energy frequencies... why don't they go after them!
OMG I don't want to do those freaky prayers and light visualisations and call for Jesus or Buddha's help before I go to bed..... what if that attracts them even more, plus I don't really have the time to do that stuff....lol... I mean... I've never had to do any of these things in the past and nobody ever attacked me....

You need to know that your stronger and better than all of the demons and bad spirits out there, even if you do have low energy. Don't let them use you.
You might get weird visions, or those weird obes things you were talking about because of your low energy. So just try not to let them scare you, because I think that this might be one of their "techniques" into like, possessing people and that kind of stuff.
And you must remember that spirits are not physical, but we are. So they cannot harm you phtysically unless you let them.

Sorry but I just had to laugh " THEY " will never take possession or make you have psychotic episodes unless you want them to.

The reason I had to laugh is because your doing this to yourself. AND I know what your going through, trust me.

Get some sleep. I didn't sleep for a almost 2 days the other day because i was a bit stressed to say the least. This pumped up my crank meter to an alarming rate. it makes you think strange things and I went into paranoia city....so get some shut eye.

Have you thought of telling this demons to F off and go away, blow a kiss or just laugh ? I bet you havn't tried that. It works like magic. Yes I understand your low vibes but you have a choice right this nano second to change that.

I done all the candle burning and all that stuff ages ago and was even thinking about putting a clove of garlic over my bed Now I just have a dreamcatcher but I laugh at that now myself.

Don't bother doing any OBE etc. not now give it time. I done this when I was at a low point in my life but was on hols with my friend at the time. Anyway I was channeling a spirit and had it all recorded on tape with my friend.... Anyways I freaked the cr@p out off myself when I heard my voice change on the play back. i had nightmares for days and was making myself worse by trapping myself in those same low vibrations.

I would advise to stop all this for time...a long time. Do something different, take up a new hobby and then come back to it. you will come back to it it a better and brighter note.

I had trouble with negative enities in the past, using a house cleansing spell helped put an end to that. I have been told that I fight demon and the likes in my dreams. Have had several recuring dreams, I used to run and hide from them but the last few times I've had this sort of dreams I've stood up to them. What has made the difference to me is that I have Angelic protection now, of course Angels protect me at all times but due to free will they can only do so in life threatening situations. Free will means that you have to ask for and give your permission to them to help in other parts of your life.

I have Angelic protection for my house, basically asking them to patrol all sides of the house to keep any negative influence out. Not long after I did this one of my daughter's friends stayed with us. This girl is very gifted in clairsenses - she sees, hears and communicates with spirits. She came out of my bathroom telling me there was something outside, she had seen a figure walking past the window. She tried showing me, she saw it again but I couldn't. I got the message it was an angel. The next night I saw it pass the window and asked it was an angel to show me again, immediately it came back.

Last night as I went to bed I got a feeling that an negative influence was close by, I pictured my house from above and saw the Angels patroling it. There seemed to be something on the other side of the fence, I asked the Angels to make sure nothing negative got in and right as I thought that there were 2 large bangs as if someone had hit one of the sheds on the neighbouring property. Usually when I get these feelings there is no way I can sleep but last night I went straight to sleep.

To gain angelic protection all you need to do is ask them, outloud or in your head it doesn't matter. Listen and look for signs that they are here, ask for a sign. Some people find feathers. I hear them mostly.

Don't be afraid you are taking angels from "more important" tasks, they are omni-present and can be helping millions of people at the same time. For more information try reading books on the subject, Doreen Virtue is my favourite author on the subject.

I'd say the first rule of scary demon stuff is avoid it. Especially if you steer clear of the supernatural, your chances of being hit with the demonic are worse than getting eaten by a shark in the local pool. Of the reports of demonic activity, how many have actually invited it by playing with oujia boards, and trying to communicate with the dead?

Like trying to start a fight in a seedy bar, if you go out looking for ghosts and demons, you're probably going to find em. But it may not be everything you hoped.

Near as I can tell, these li'l jerks (demons and negative entities and such) feed off of fear and anger. So the real trick is not to feed them. Focus on love, and hope, and all those things that rarely make the news cuz they're too pollyanna. If you REALLY crave the supernatural, why not read about angels, and unexplainable occurances of positive things?

You don't have to go supernatural to realize that if you expect or are focused on bad things happening, then they usually will. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So, my best advice is this. Whenever you feel afraid of the supernatural, or the preternatural, if you're religious... pray. If you're not, then the solution is similar. Fill yourself with goodness. Fill yourself to the brim with all the hope and good times and love that you can muster. If these things are attacking from another realm, remember that you were born here and have amazing power in this realm that they have to steal energy from the living to employ. You are nearly infinitely more powerful than any spirit in this realm.

Most often these fearful thoughts are just that: thoughts in your head. Most often there is nothing supernatural about them, and by filling yourself with good, there's no room for fear. This is usually true even if the fear IS the result of something outside this realm. If there IS something bad out there, filling yourself with love is the best defense. Their strongest weapons are fear and anger, and if you're too busy loving the world to allow those into yourself, then the bad guys are out of luck.

Realize your authority in your life. Realize how much power your positive thoughts have over even real live people in your world let alone phantoms. If you go up to people all down and dejected, how do they respond vs. going to them uplifted and positive?

Religious rites, regardless of the source all have the same commonality. They establish your authority and will over the supernatural in your life. Realizing, accepting, and projecting that authority is the first (and probably last) step to eradicating any fear you may have.

From the heart, I offer my blessing of peace in your life at all times and in every way. So I'm just one person with as much right and power as any non-living thing to do the opposite. My li'l blessing alone should take out at least one if not all of those stupid li'l buggers. Proxy, there IS something to be afraid of. Do you remember fearing the dark as a child? There's a damn good reason for that.

The first thing to know is, that you're already posessed. We all are. Let's drop the word "demon" and "evil," however. Instead, let's use the term "inorganic being." An inorganic being is simply a life form that has no physical body. Apperently there are huge numbers of different species of these beings. But there's one very special species which has taken an interest in the human race (and supposedly many other races, both organic and inorganic) since about 10,000 years ago when they discovered our world! (it's no coincidence farming was started then, we learned it from our masters, from what they do to us!)

This life form is a very advanced, old race that survives by parasiting and feeding off a host in a highly developed systematic fashion. There's nothing "evil" about it. It's just how it survives. Every single human has been "infested" at birth and is to some extent, a puppet of their parasite. I would estimate that saying 1 in a million people being free of this parasite, would be a hugely optimistic estimate. If you read the Carlos Castaneda book, Active Side of Infinity, you'll have a nice introduction to these beings, which the book calls "Flyers" because they tend to move in leaps, and can jump up and ride the wind. For those who's perceptions begin to open up, they can begin to see these creatures in the dark, they appear as large shadows even against the pitch black. They will disappear from site upon turning on a light.

Supposedly they eat the "glowing coat of awareness" of our energy body, which resembles a luminous egg, leaving only enough of it for us to be caught up in perpetual self-reflection. If they ate it all we might die, and they'd lose the food source.

Anyway, aside from these lovely creatures, there are all sorts of other inorganic beings. And best believe, encountering them, really being aware of them is frightening beyond belief. It isn't because they're all out to eat us or something (although some may be). It just tends to be fightening by nature. Some are actually interested in friendships! Usually, since we're all so energetically drained, the only time we really are consciously aware of them is in dreams. They may appear as an animal, object, or person, or if you're capable of seeing energy directly without superflous interpretation, they will appear as energy, just as humans supposedly would appear as a luminous egg to someone who can see energy directly.

I'm gonna be harsh here but SNAP OUT OF IT. If you are scared, you will attract them to you as they LOVE FEAR. I've been a spirit medium since the age of 5. They scared the crap out of me too. I had a home that was a portal and they played games with me because I was scared. Severl medium friends told me to SNAP OUT OF IT and control my vibration level and to protect myself with the white light of god.. this is what you must do. If you don't know how to protect yourself.. just do some grounding, burn some sage and walk into it, and change your vibration by saying. I"m in control and you are not to be around me unless you are positive and of good light from God. I have tons of orb pictures and I do not believe they are negative at all. It's their energy and they are just plain nosy and hanging around from time to time checking up on us.

I thought it was just me!!! Since reading Erins blogs and then this forum, I am PETRIFIED at the very thought of these things/ negative beings/ Shadow entities... whatever they are called! They sound Horrendous!!

I always believed someone in spirit looked after me and protected me, but since I found out about these "beings", I have become obsessed with protection prayers, visualisation, incense burning and trying to raise my vibration - Feel like i am going insane!!

Im normally quite logical and don't scare easily (except with this! ) so I try to reason with myself its all my imagination but then I worry incase im giving them a beacon to come look for me lol!!

Most of the advice is to tell them to go away, they are not welcome etc... I think I would have a stroke at the sight of one let alone tell them anything!!

you'll be fine. you have to be in a pretty low place in your life usually for an entity to bother you. they attack when a person is at their weakest. the only advice i can give you is to think positive always. its when you give up on life is when they come to you. The only way you'll know is if you begin to question yourself and your mind because thats where they start. also they will go after your family relationships so stay close to your family. After a while you will know, there will be a sense of the worst loneliness and darkness you have ever felt. and also if you suspect you may have one refrain from using alcohol or drugs, trust me its the worst thing you could do its when you get the closest to your demon. but its a worst case scenerio kind of thing. and even if it does happen there are people that can help. i dont care if someone doesnt believe in them, most people wont until it happens to them. i was one of those skeptics until recently

i am a bit confused...

a couple years ago i had to fight for my Soul on the Astral Plane - a Circle of Buddhist "Hell" - my Asian ex wife sent hordes of Demons through a powerful sorcerer
unfortunately for her, they failed and i slew all of them
the struggle lasted for a couple months or so (i mean while i was sleeping)
i could control my Astral Avatar (although strangely i could never, so far, perform OBEs willingly, and while in this Buddhist Hell i was NOT aware i was projecting - looked like PLAIN Reality (ok ok it WAS)) and ended up winning, everytime...
... everytime save for ONE TIME - a demon was too powerful for me - but Buddha's War Lieutenant came to rescue me

later some Monks said Buddha has put a "seal" on me - i am protected, whatever...
... the counterpart being that as His "Marked" Son i ll have to undergo tremendous hardships for a very long life, and as his Son i MUST help my Brethren down here

This is all very interesting to read...

So many people I know actually had to fight such fears. I myself lived in such a trap a while ago, and for a long time.
I guess religion does know sometimes how to bring fear. There was a bad time in my life where I was using drugs too and I know this affected me badly and it made those things even worse, I'd be dead scared of going to bed at night.

My sister had the same (without the drug use though, she is a very sensitive person), only she really attracted those bad things to her because she made an obsession out of it and those things really fed off her fear, I saw her in tears because of that... Though we all have the power to send those things/entities into the Light. It is up to us if we are willing.

I have given up fear because I know it is useless, when you live a life of love, you are on a much higher frequency and chances of encountering such low entities are quite rare. Now I call Angels and at any fear, I call upon Archangel Michael to protect and turn my fears into love, and I've never felt better and more protected. When you give too much importance to something/a person/entity, you feed it with your own energy, you make it come to life, to existance or you help it perpetuate itself.

To all the people out there still scared, there is a way out of there, think of all the love this world is giving you, think of all the joys. If you are a believer, being in Christ's love is well enough to protect you from any harm. Jesus' name is like a prayer ! (even Erin in an article mentioned that when astral travelling the name of God/Christ would be a nice way to send those entities flying else where )

I strongly suspect that I have dark entities attached to me at the moment. Until fairly recently I lived in the same house as my mother and brother, both of whom are fairly dysfunctional, and the mood there was dark and depressing with some strange occurrences happening at times.

Also, my father took his life a few years back. He was an abusive, pathological and mentally unbalanced person. I have had sessions with mediums before, and often my father would show up and from what he said he is even able to read my thoughts, suggesting that he is close to me. He has apologised for his bad behaviour during life and one medium seems to think he genuinely wants to help. But another psychic says he is in a dark place, surrounded by other dark forces, and that he is quite dangerous.

Anyway, I am constantly plagued by negative thoughts of hopelessness, worthlessness, guilt, shame and general fatigue. I know that these forces attach when you are in a low vibrational state. But it just seems hard to get out of it sometimes. Part of the problem is that I have long been fairly lonely and isolated from others, largely from poor social confidence and low self-esteem. I find it difficult to ask for help, find help, or connect with positive people. I know I am spiritually evolved and have noble intentions, but sometimes it just feels like my fate in life is to wander the wilderness alone with my suffering.

Sometimes there is a dark entity attachment, this is true, but it's rare. You'll have to be especially vigilant with your energy and cut any cords between you and any deceased relative who may be hovering detrimentally nearby so they don't siphon your energy.

Hello. I read your post here and was very concerned. I know how you feel. I was once in this frame of mind myself a while back.... I had no one to talk to about it at the time without people looking at u funny. First thing I would say is to trust GOD. Put your faith in GOD. Doesn't matter what religion; you have to find the path that was meant for you. When you turn to GOD, u are assured.... nothing can harm you. It is good to be aware somewhat too though... That is one of the reasons why GOD tells us to trust him and not get involved of some of these things that are not of this world. I would love to share more info with you about these things because... I want to share with anyone what I have learned and seen over the years and because of the things I have exp..... I make a point to stay close to GOD.... God is the only way you can be assured to be protected from such things...

I will tell you this and I am sure you have learned this already if you are reading and researching on these things....

There are things.... that are not of this world... that are around us constantly... waiting for a door.. just one door to open.. any little way they can get in..... they will.... There is fine line between this world and the world they are in... That portal..... Let me just say this..... you have to calm down or you are going to make yourself even more nervous.... no sleep; these are ways the enemy will come in and try to weaken you.... your mind will start to play tricks on you and then you are wondering if it really happened or did something else make it happen.... then, u will start to doubt yourself.... you will then be as though u look at everyone and wonder if they are the enemy.....

I love GOD and serve GOD only. I also have certain qualities that most people don't expect or see... I have learned alot in my years.... and exp. things and seen things.... and because of it... it has pushed me to want to stay close to GOD. It scared me too.... If you want to read something good,... read the book called THE Secret. It is very true and a proven fact.

Bottom line is.... stop being scared... Trust GOD, do things that you enjoy to get your mind off this.... hobbies... meet with friends and get out... think positive.... when u do.. I promise you,... u will see a big change... You deserve to be happy and YOU ARE strong inside.... You just have to see it... You are not weak.... that is what the evil/enemy wants you to believe and accept... You are not weak.... You are strong and when start believing this yourself.... you will see a change.... U will fell better, stronger... and you will not be worried about what is going to happen when you fall asleep....

Hello Everyone.

I have been reading some of the posts here and WOW! Some of these answers are really good info and so TRUE. Wish it were possible for us all to meet together for coffee and share all our info and exp. in person. Seriously...

Well, I wanted to share some things with you all if this is okay and I apologize now if I offend anyone. I certainly don't mean to. But, I have to share this with you all..

Every since I was 12, I have experienced all sorts of things.... I have seen ghosts (which cannot harm you), I have heard whispers in the wind before... and cannot explain that one.... I have things to come up missing only to have them appear days later... (Mind you, I live alone too). I have been able to pick up on certain things on people I have never met before ... like in grocery stores, etc... Not sure why I was lucky enough to exp. such things and it isn't luck really because I don't believe in it.. Everything happens for a reason and me being the person I am and I ALWAYS analyze everything... (one of my quirks), I kept digging and digging and wanted to know why.. Why me.. why did I have to be shown this or that... the more I dug, the more stuff happened... because... I opened myself up to it... and let it in... I got answers alright and I was scared at things I found... I saw alot of sorrow, alot of pain and grief in people around me... people at the grocery store.... at the library and parks.... I literally would start crying at the things I was seeing.. I am not perfect... but I am human and I do have heart. I love people and hate to see anyone or any animal especially in pain or hurt... My heart goes out to any living breathing ....but the tears, sorrow and pain I saw in people and everywhere I went... I started to get down and ask.. why so much pain and tears.... then i started looking at myself... and saw things from my life that had caused pain, etc...
I am NOT crazy. Perfectly sane. I don't worship anything evil or not of GOD. I love GOD and pray every day... never leave my home without praying first.... There is POWER in PRAYING and POWER in FAITH.

It is a good to be aware of some of the things surrounding us... to a certain point.... BUT,... when it starts to tear you away from the one who brought you into the world and gave you a purpose here; then... you have opened doors you should not have. When I say doorways... I am speaking in such a sense of... letting yourself think u are weak, that u are not good, that u should be afraid.... Your thoughts literally DO become WHAT IS.... This is where alot of people really get confused and don't understand... Each one of us are made of energy... When we die, our soul will leave this body.... and whatever entires are within us... (our personalities, qualities, etc..) will leave the body as well. They usually leave the body and will travel to the next body or host. This is where the BAD entities will find people that are weak, troubled or not strong and they will attach to them...

Another instance... when you play with the Ouija board... it is not a game... It is a doorway for the unknown... Once you sit down and play with it.... u have opened doors for the evil ... and trust me.. there is nothing GOOD that comes from that board. it is not a game. People fail to see that too. there are no directions really with it if u buy it.... and there are certain questions you should NOT ask and never should ask for proof if something is there. There are certain ways u close the board. U don't just leave board out or throw it in a box. NO, I don't have one and won't have one. I did play with one in college and me and the girls who played... all paid a price for it. They are not games.. u cannot just throw it in trash either... there is a certain way u have to destroy it. That is another reason if you are going to touch such things... DON'T be drunk or silly or weak at the time... YOUR MIND has to be serious and u have to be careful what you think and say.... YES, it is that serious and people all over the world that play with it.... pay dearly.. IT IS NOT EVER EASY TO GET OUT OF THE DOOR .. WHAT YOU LET IN....

Just like being around negative or evil people, or being in such a place around things or ones that aren't positive... that energy can leap onto you.... and attach to you...

NO, I am not drunk... nor drugged. I have never done such things... I am real, with a heart and blood flowing through my body.

This is not even a tip of the iceberg.... to what I have learned in my years.

I am sharing here now because.. all over the internet.. I see more and more people are exp. the same thing and they have opened doorways that they cannot shut because of all the negative and evil they let in. it is okay. We are human and we all make mistakes... But whoever u are out there, wherever you are.... NEVER let yourself think or believe you are weak. That you are not good. that is what the enemy wants you to think.
IF YOU.... let your mind think you are bad and weak, etc... or if something is out to get you.... WITH YOUR MIND... YOU ARE LETTING THEM IN.... Cannot help how it sounds.. but it is true.

You have to discipline your mind of thinking and believing. GOD loves us all and wants good things for us. There is a reason we are here....


I am not here to preach to anyone.... I am not GOD... I am a follower of God... But, I did want to take this time to try and reach out to anyone here...
I know what some of you are going through... I have been there.... and I too was scared... but when you really start to put GOD first and trust GOD..... you will see a change.... You will be happier... I promise you; you will see things differently....

Seriously... every action, every thought you have.... has a serious effect...

If you could see some of the things I SEE everyday..... things that are around us... waiting to get in through any doorway or window.... you would pray everyday too. I don't worry.... I see it... and keep moving along... because GOD is greater.... I don't act upon things I see or exp.... I see it and then, move along... if I act upon it or give it thought or time... then I am just as they are.... and I am not like them.... Nor are you... You are strong and you are above what they enemy is trying to get you to think or believe....

Hope this has made someone or some of you think now.... but not to scare you..... it is good to be aware somewhat.... but... don't put faith or energy of any kind in to the works of the unknown.... I hope I haven't offended anyone here... I just wanted to share some things with anyone here who wants to listen... As we all have questions.. I sure do... but... some things are better left unsaid or unanswered... Just trust GOD for the answers.. and if GOD doesn't give you the answer, it is for our own good....

Astral Projection is dangerous.

1.when you OBE, you have to rely on entities and "spirit guides" to help you. You never know what their intentions are, are their power is often underestimated.

2.When you astral project you bring yourself closer to the spirit relm, which means more possible contact with evil entities(Like the entity that forced Erin back to sleep and tried to pull her out of her body) . Can you imagine being a afraid to go to sleep because something may try to pull you out of your body?

So I would recommend against it. I use to want to do it a few days back but for these reasons I don't want to anymore.

What makes you think there is a distinction between God and Demons? In your own type of words, if Mind of God = You, then Mind of God also = Demons.

From a higher perspective we are only fighting our other slightly less realized God-selves.

I'm pretty sure your smarter than me, however, This I know.

God is good. God will go out of the way to provide goodness in the life of a believer.
Demons...will go out to the way to destroy all or any lives.

Facts of what is certain will never be proved.
Humans dispute the fact that there could be a God and discard demons as a figment in ones own imagination.
In my opinion...If ever a human has true experience with a demonic entity; I can pretty sure promise that they will be searching for a God now!

Lol. Where to start... from an outsiders perspective, i have to ask. What makes you think youre "low frequency" how has this been measured and what is it supposed to refer to? Is it a measure of how illogical you are?

The whole demon thing i suspect is a chemical and psychological thing.

I admit when i was younger i had a dream which fits the usual description. Clear as day.2 black shadowy figures with glowing red eyes etc. The sense of approaching evil and the fear trigger too. To put it simply dont worry about it. I believe it was just a dream. If youre still scared and want tips for how i dealt with it in my sleep (lol)....

Im a messed up mix of aspergers and "normal" who chooses when to engage emotion or empathy. In this case logic first. There is no such thing as evil. Evil is perspective. Your people raise your young to eat animals do they not? So to the victims you are evil. To yourself you think yourself reasonably good generally. Perspective. The notion of an evil field or something being evil because it is black or has red eyes? Stereotype.

Next empathy. You appear to people. They feel you are evil and look evil. Everywhere you go, anything intelligent recoils from you in horror. You travel and see people of differing types, so you are curious, but meet rejection everywhere.

Pity and compassion... end... sort of.


Remember its just a dream. Perhaps the way we respond to unquestioned stereotypes, to the unknown, to shadows. Personally, if i believed it wasnt a dream and these were some sort of energy vampire or whatever the latest theory is, i would still care. I am above nothing and find no reason to promote my existance above all others.

It is true that there are demons and bad spirits for without evil good could not exist either but we are very strong and our guides and angels are here to help us fight them off. For me when I see shadows or black spots in my mind I know that it could possibly be evil. When my guides/angels speak to me I am able to see their faces and feel their love. Let your instincts guide you, they will help you identify whether something is pure with love or evil and bad. Your higher self will also help you. If you feel a lot of negative energies you can say a simple prayer of your choosing and ask the light and love to surround you and take away the darkness. I sometimes also use holy water myself but that is of course a personal option. I hope this helps.
