Vivid Dream About Deceased Mother

I was sitting at this table with a white table cloth over it. I was the only one at the table and I began to look around the room. The room was a big room with thousands of the same tables and I could not see the end of the room no matter what direction I looked. Each table had two chairs. The tables weren't really that big, just big enough for about 2 people.

I looked behind me to see if I could see a wall but I couldn't... just thousands of more of the same tables with 2 chairs as far as I could see. When I turned back around there was this woman sitting across from me. She had nice black hair and seemed very nice... I didn't recognize her.

Then she looked at me and says "You don't even know who I am do you?" I thought about it for a few seconds and it hit me like a brick wall and surprised me. It was my mother who passed on 26 years earlier. The jolt from being surprised woke me up right away. I was so disapointed that I couldn't stay and talk with her. Maybe it will happen again sometime...

I told my sister about the dream and what she looked like and she told me that is how our mother looked in her prime. My brothers and sisters are all alot older than me so they knew her in her younger years but I only knew her in her late years and only knew her as a blonde rather than with black hair. At 9 years old I guess you don't pay attention hair dyes

This dream was very vivid. It was clear as me sitting here typing this post.

I had a similar experience when my grandmother passed away. I was close to her and it hurt, and my mom kept telling me that she was having the worst dreams ever about her. So then one night before bed I said "I would like to have a dream with my grandma." A few nights later I remember having a dream where I was sitting down at the kitchen table that was at her house, except everything was floating and we were in "space." (Well it was black and stars were everywhere!) I then looked across the table and she was looking back at me. She looked like her, but in a very weak and frail form. She was very very pale and looked like she wanted to say something. I got so nervous/scared (I was 10) that I woke up with a cold sweat. Never did get to say anything.

Sure it was probably just a dream because I had thought about it a few days prior, but I still remember how I felt when I woke up. Very eerie experience.

Very telling that your mother looked as she did at her best because that is usually how the deceased appear, their natural state in the afterlife is how they appeared in life when they felt their best and had the greatest memories. They also smile a lot and have a very strange sense of humor as if life is but a joke. And you know I don't blame them one bit because they seem to be having a hell of a good time.
