Strange experiment I tried today...

Hi Everyone!

I have always been interested in astrology, and my birth chart alludes to me having an "extreme amount of energy" and "great healing power" in MANY different ways over and over again. This is coincidentally true, I am always EXTREMELY energetic, never sick (and if so, only get the beginnings of an illness, then I kind of will it out of me), and I meditate regularly, and find that I can actually feel energy vibrating in/on me...especially in my hands.

I have an extremely energetic dog, as well. I was laying down and meditating and focusing on pulling in energy today, and I realized I felt a GREAT amount of energy for some reason. That's when I realized my dog was actually laying on my foot, not jumping around everywhere like he usually does. So then I just placed my hand on him and focused on seeing if I can pull in energy. I think I may have, because my dog immediately turned very angry and snarly, and tried to bite me if my hands came anywhere near him for about 5 minutes. Then he started barking at me and running around the room and eventually left. He TOTALLY freaked out, and it was really scary!

I guess my question is just what did I do, and is what I did wrong? Does anyone know about how energy works in a situation like this and/or if possible, how I can use it for good?

I don't know what you did, but I imagine if you felt someone you trusted pull energy out of yourr system unexpectedly how you would feel!

I remember I tried doing Quantum Touch energy work on my cat a few times when I first started learning it. ( QT is where you raise your own vibration by sweeping energy up from your feet through your body to your hands). My cat would give me a stinking look and get up and walk away, every time!

I was told by someone who really likes animals that you have to mentally or verbally ask permission of the animal if you are going to do energy work on them before doing it. I tried this and my cat will tollerate some QT energy now!


I'd have a look at the Quantum Touch website Quantum-Touch: The Power to Heal and chat to the people on their about energy and check with your dog first before you pull energy out of him, next time. or better still do QT on him instead.

Thanks! I feel really bad for whatever I did to my dog, he's my good buddy, but all is ok, we had a nice game of tug-of-war after!

Interesting about your cat! I have an energetic kitten (as well as some other pets), who actually comes near me a lot when I meditate. I don't know if I would want to try energy work on him, he's only about 4 months old.

It's really interesting you sent me there, I was reading a book last weekend on how we can change quantum particles with our mind, and thought the idea was fascinating. Then in my philosophy class earlier this week, my professor was talking about the same exact thing, and I was really thinking about it. Now you send me this link! Weird!
