There are ways to increase your psychic abilities. I happen to know of a method that may very well be the ultimate method.

We're taught that magnetism simply protects us from various types of radiations coming from our solar system and beyond, but otherwise has no effect on us. Well, magnetism does a lot more than that. Albert Roy Davis discovered that the North and South poles of a magnet are actually two different energies with two different effects. I scanned this briefly and found it interesting but would definately want to see confirmation from an independant source. So much of the ESP/PSY world is based on subjective experience I am leary when someone comes up with objective findings. I also worked for 17 years in radiology and have some exposure to MRI studies done to evaluate its safety, I have never heard of anyone having these side effects, of course MRI does deal with magnets that are 2-5 times the earths pull,way beyond the power mentioned in the article. I have done a lot of personal reading regarding brain wave entrainment and wave states and I know from personal experience that psy phenomena is 'louder' when the mind is still. If the magnets work, my guess would be that they alter brain wave frequencies.

I recall seeing a lecture some time ago by professor Michael Persinger who's studied exactly this phenomena. He used small magnets placed in a sort of helmet arrangement that went on a subject's head. The magnets somehow stimulated the temporal lobes in the brain, causing all sort of oddball effects; a feeling of dissociation, false memories, the whole "going to the light and meeting dead relatives" process that's often described as a near-death experience and a host of other peculiarities, even delusions of alien abduction :eek:. I have used some small magnets for this purpose and I feel certain that it works.
One thing you quickly notice is that you dream more often and more vividly, but I also believe my intuition is stronger and I feel mentally sharper.

I tried putting a magnet to my forehead a few days ago. I am not sure how powerful the magnet was, but I did feel its affects on my frontal lobe. I don't know if any of you read this article about clicking the amygdala, but that is what it felt like when I put the magnet to my forehead near the third eye for around 10 seconds, it had the sensation of clicking it forward. I pulled it back shortly because I was somewhat nervous about reprecussions from doing this.

The day after the magnet experience, I had a ton of very vivid lucid dreams. I recorded three false awakenings which is very uncommon for me. I am debating whether to try the magnet again and see if I attain the same results to disprove the idea of it being a coincidence.

Dr. Micheal Persinger's research is very interesting. He uses a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) for brain entrainment into different states of consciousness. Entrainment (in physics) is a term that refers to two objects vibrating at different frequencies becoming synchronized by being near each other.. like tuning forks effecting each other with vibrations. With a TMS, the same thing is being done with electro-magnetic waves penetrating the brain.

Persinger explains that there are a spectrum of experiences that come from the helmet. Some temporal lobes are highly susceptible to the waves (they have incredible experiences) while others are not.

Dreams and Magnets
 

I wonder if there has ever been any clinical proof that placing magnets on your forehead increae your dreamstate?

Didn't have time to read any of the articles here (yet), but it reminds me something of computer science. There is a method to make computers imagine stuff. This happen in digital neuronic networks, via destroying digital neurons-which makes the computers make up stuff that wasn't there before. So, if destruction leads to creation, what could distortion lead us to?

So you place a simple magnet on your forehead and you can have all of these experiences? Did anyone else tryed it to comfirm this?

I believe you place the north side of say a round magnet on your forehead over your third-eye. The north side pushes the energy into your head. The south side of a magnet is the "pulling" side.

This head band is very strong... but seem's to be perfect for increasing ones psychic abilities and would also take all the guesswork out of making it yourself. I have never tried this one... but think it would work really great!

So magnetic energy can maybe affect psychic abilities? That's strange because i've heard about 2012 and the pole shift that could cause cataslyms AND increase our psychic abilites also and open our third eye due to the magnetic shift.

There are "technologies"...I'll put that in quotes, that can awaken your psychic abilities alot quicker than if you just tried to do it yourself. These technologies are sort of a secret and TPTB (the powers that be) do NOT want us to know about them, so that's why we seldom run into them. I do think magnetics is good place to start when looking into these technologies to awaken a person's psychic abilities, this area might not be the whole thing, so to speak, but it's part of it. Someday these surppressed (sp?) technologies, like free-energy tech, will be common knowledge, so little by little it's coming out.
