Default NBC's Phenomenon - Who is Your Favorite?

For those of you who have watched the show, who was your favorite performer, and why?

How many of these tricks can you perform yourself?

I kind of agreed with Criss Angel that the display put on of the channeling/automatic writing was pretty ridiculous. It's just not that hard to communicate with departed Souls, nor do they have to take over our body! Heck, I do that kind of work every day. I do think there was some remote viewing involved, but he could have really done without all that jerking around and eye-rolling.
I personally really dug the guy with the fictional murder mystery - he didn't get the biggest kudos, but I think there may have been some psychic skill involved.

I don't know if I'd want to "perform tricks." I tell you what, though - I did my first ever round of live psychic readings for callers on a radio show this Halloween. Nothing I've ever done before, but it was a blast, and the callers were highly validating of everything I had to say. But that's about as public a display of psychic ability as I'd ever care to do!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was tickled by this show on NBC. It certainly can't hurt to put what is possible out there - whether it comes from true psychic ability or just clever tricks, I really don't know. I just think it's a good reminder that we are expansive beings that need not be restricted to the physical dimension, or linear time.

Blessings,
Andrea

I agree!!.. when i was watching this man, I thought he would have done a more effective job at convincing me, had he not gone to such dramatic antics... it was laughable... in fact both my hubby and I started laughing and saying "awh come on this guy is rediculous"

but then again ... it is entertainment,

That is funny you mention the murder mystery guy!!! he was our favorite too , I was surprised he got such negative feedback... I liked him alot, and he was so down to earth no theatrics ....

I agree with the previous two posters. The channeling guy was just silly. And we also liked the murder mystery guy.

The show was entertaining, and it was fun to watch the magicians/illusionists. But don't kid yourself that there was anything psychic going on!

Old Soul - true, it was pretty entertaining, watching that guy do his little dance in the chair! It's funny to see what people think "channeling" would look like. Ah, the drama of it all ...

Jill - why are you so convinced that nothing psychic is going on? Why not? All of those "tricks" are perfectly accessible to all, with some practice. What has you convinced that it's all trickery?
