Starting when I was really young, I've had a lot of weird experiences. During the time I was in the fifth or fourth grade, I remember swatting down a fly in my room. For some reason, I instantly felt horrible, and placed the insect in my hand (guts hanging out and all). There was no doubt in my mind it was dead. My remorse caused me to (sounds a bit weird) try and "channel" my life into it. A few seconds later, the ly (guts still hanging out) buzzed away. To this day, I'll see a lone fly at random times, and I feel....Different. Odd. Hard to explain. Almost like there's more. Nothing in particular, just "more." I've had a character in my dreams constantly arise. At the risk of seeming stereotypical, it was a male, who I couldn't see quite clearly, but he was always there, head held down, in most instances, he seemed to be raising his head for me to see his face, only for me to awake without the slightest glance. When I'm caught off-guard, or happen to notice something out of the corner of my eye, I notice that same man, outside my dreams. I've also had dreams about a girl, maybe around 14-15, obviously very pretty, but from the bottom of her neck down, she's horribly disfiguired and scarred. She has a habit of floating, toes just barely off the ground. Last time I've dreamed of her a few years ago, I awoke suddenly, breathing hard. I was scared for some reason, and I still don't remember why. But when I awoke, my alarm clock and my bedside lamp were both on, which obviously isn't too weird at all. I blinked, and everything shut off. Recently, while angry, I backhanded a tall, metal lamp. It cut cleanly across from here my hand landed. I know there's probably a lot of logical reasonings behind this, but it just seems off... I constantly feel as i something is happening (cheesily put Thanks. |

To use an analogy, your radio is turned on and sometimes the volume shoots way up and sometimes it's down. Sometimes you're tuned in to a specific station and sometimes you're between stations. The question for you is, what do you want to do with your radio? Do you want to learn how to work it better or turn it off? Or are you comfortable hearing static occasionally?

Before I answer, could you explain a bit about the radio analogy? I mean, in this case, what exactly is the 'radio'? Sorry if I seem a bit daft or demanding, but to properly answer the question, I'd rather there be no misunderstandings about what we're talking about. |

The radio is like your psychic ability. When I'm working, for example, my radio is turned on, the volume is up, I'm tuned to a high frequency and I'm listening. When I'm not working, I turn the radio off or I just turn it way down. |

Hey Bob, Here is a blog post from Erin about tuning in more clearly. Also, when I was just typing that I accidentally and randomly typed the word "window" into my response. Does that mean anything to you? |
