crocodile dream

[Beloved]

Had a strange dream last night, soooo unusual for me - NOT, in it we were staying in a house (one I have dreamt of before), there was quite a bit to the dream but the part that stood out was that behind the house was a beautiful bay and next to that seperated by rocks was a natural pool that was swarming with crocodiles. Crocs were also swimming in the bay.

I noticed that several of the men in my group, which consisted of my DH, brother, several BIL and someone that went to our church years ago, were swinging on a rope and landing very near the water. I saw Philip (church friend) swing out, land and saw crocodiles leaving the water to get him. Philip is (or was, he is now deceased) handicapped, he was confined to a wheelchair but not paralysed. With the crocs coming up very quickly he was unable to get away from them so I ran down and picked him up carrying him to safety. I couldn't believe it when I saw my brother, who is also handicapped but he can walk, swinging on the rope and landing near the crocs. I think I may have dragged him out too, he can't run.

In the bay I noticed a man in waders standing in hip high water, fishing. A croc started swimming around him and he tried move away but it was like the crocs were herding him towards the point where they were able to leave the pool. They baled him up against the rocks along with another fisherman and crocs started coming over the side to attack them, but 2 other fishermen started attacking the crocs, killing one or two and getting their mates to safety. The crocs then turned on the dead ones and pulled them into the pool.

We all went back in the house and one BIL said that he was out of there, he was never coming to this house again, another BIL said to him that he had lost his money - apparently they had bought the house together and the other wasn't selling up.


Would anyone like to attempt to interpret this dream? I looked at some dream sites, found the explainations were mainly about being chased by crocs not about others being chased and being saved by me or others.

BTW - BIL means brother in law. And in life I barely knew Philip, he was a friend of my brother's - really more like a hero to him. I woke at 4am feeling very shaken.
