Anyone else hear tones at times?

I've noticed that after I hear the tone, sometimes in right ear, sometimes in left, that in a day or so, something synchronous or unusual happens.

Also, at times I feel a difference of pressure (or something!) around me along with the tone.

I've had this for years & don't think much about it, but I got several in a row today, so I thought I'd ask if others have that, and what you think it means, if anything.

Hearing Tones On Higher Frequencies

As we return to higher frequency awareness we will hear different tones - sometimes sounding like whistling or ringing noises (not to be mistaken for sinus problems or inner ear problems).

Hearing tones can be accompanied by pressure behind one or both ears. You feel as if you are 'tuning in' to something with a head set of some kind. (...)

These tones are like wake-up tones - bells and whistles that go off in our minds that signal us to remember something - why we are here - who we are as soul sparks having a physical experience.

The cellular changes now occurring in our bodies move us to higher frequencies thereby enabling us to hear tones on different levels of awareness.

The onset of these tones may be frequency or just occur once. They are physical in nature and occur when you least expect to hear them. You cannot concentrate and wait for them to happen. As with all important changes in our 3D world - the soul guides these things as our physical experience is ready.

Everyday more and more people hear tones. You will too - if you haven't already!

You may equate the tones with numbers, colors, a time, place, or other trigger. Watch for the synchronicities after you hear the tones.

Hearing Tones

I've never been real sure this was a good thing to be experiencing, but I pause and "download" anyway, usually. Kinda freaks me out, now, actually.

I always thought it was an early sign of hearing loss or tinnitis... I have heard these tones before and like the poster before me, I thought it was a bad thing. I have never noticed any synchonicities, or pressure for that matter, perhaps I'll be more aware when this happens in the future.

I thought maybe it was a bad thing, not because of hearing problems, but because it always felt like something outside myself maybe messing with me, and I didn't know who or what it was. Still don't, though, as I said, it's pretty non-dramatic to me, since I've had it so long.

The sense of pressure change in the air around me is quite pronounced at times.

I got an amazing synchronicity today (can't really share), and it made me feel that the tones may be/probably are benevolent.

I also would get the tones a lot growing up. I thought they might be some form of communication. Then I took a Sensation and Perception class in graduate school and my psych professor explained them away scientifically. I can't remember what he said, only that I concluded that the tones were not mystical in nature. So I can't really say what they are. Experiment and see if there is some pattern.

Well, it "visits" me for a few seconds in a month, at most.

Not much of a "health condition," it seems.

The synchronicity reliably unfolds in a few hours or days. I always think of it as a signal: OK, look for synchronicity.

For me i believe them to be a warning, because i am usualy doing something stupidly dangerous at the time, lol

However they do happen randomly at times.

Yet i still believe they are a subconcious mesage or perhaps a message from dead relatives, i always think of my dead great grandmother when they happen, perhap's that's just association through habituation, who knows?

I've noticed this as well... I always thought it was because someone was talking about me... It does happen at strange times though, mostly when i'm, this may sound silly, but shifting awareness or thinking deep...

Anyway don't know what it is, I haven't payed much attention when it happens, like I said i'm usually thinking deeper if that makes sence

"Thinking deep," yeah. (Or at least my version of it. )

Strangely, I haven't paid much attention to it either--never thought to bring it up here until now.

Vaguely feel like I'm "downloading" stuff; vaguely wonder if that's an OK thing to do, but I do it anyway, now, with a brief prayer that only the "good stuff" comes through. I pause and breathe with it while I have it.

Having never talked about it, it hasn't seemed all that real, I guess.

There is a research project going on but I can't remember who is running it that deals with earthquake prediction and psychics who hear tones in either ear and the strength and direction of the sound combined with the correlation of known events has brought some very surprising results. There are many psychics who have concluded that their perceptions have picked up infra or normally inaudible sounds emanating from geostresses
within the earth, and that they can foretell earthquakes.

This is kind of OT, but there have been times when I've been laying down to either take a nap or go to sleep for the night in a totally quiet room (I usually have a fan or something going so I'm not used to total silence when sleeping), and could swear that I could hear a radio signal in my head. Music, but too static sounding to actually make out, and then someone talking. This was living back in the woods (no nearby neighbors, and no music playing outside, I went out to check), with no one else home and no radios/tvs/computers on in the house. Weird huh?

I hear them often.......... sometimes it is really long and high pitched, guess i need to pay more attention to when it happens and the events i am doing at the time etc... see if it all fits like a puzzle

Thanks for launching this topic, Megan. I've always heard stuff, but odd things like doorbells that wake me up in the middle of the night. But lately I've had pressure changes and internal tones in my ears, too. I've occasionally worried about tinnitis, also. Now I'll have to see if I can find a common thread with these occurrences!

You're welcome, Andrea. I felt kind of silly starting this thread, but I'd had a bunch of tones & pressure changes within a few hours at the time, so it was strongly on my mind, which it usually isn't.

It's usually kind of a 'down home' sort of thing--'Oh yeah, watch for synchronity,' and then I think of something else immediately, but do notice the synchronicity when it comes.

By the way, the pressure changes don't feel like they're in my ears, but around my whole body. Subtle, but definitely noticable.

Billy, that's interesting about the earthquakes.

PS: Oh yeah, another weird thing: I rarely wake up choking in the night, but when I do, I've come to understand that there is something in my life that I really need to pay attention but which I'm ignoring.

Hi this is charming and I frist started hearing tones when I got out of a realationship and eventualy started hereing voice's which was of my last boyfreind and a mate after that so I left men alone for a long time any kind of realationship. So I would say that it's a sign for you that if you have these tones and heraring any thing eles is sign of your sense's are getting stronger. And for you to precive things in your life or what you might be dealing with.

Megan, are you talking about these little ping sounds that happen in our ears? They are very high frequency, like a tiny bell and usually you can feel a pop of pressure in your ear before it happens. Is that it?

I had experience of hearing low huss pitch tone when i was in relaxed state.

This tone (something like quiet OM) is by some mystic teachers the connection with higher consciousness.

This of course could also be related with different illnesses, but if your not proved to suffer from anything and you have "weird" experiences you could pretty well start connecting with spiritual world on a conscious level.

This phenomenon should certainly be tested on a scientific level and view what parts of the brain are connected with producing that "sound" that is by my experience is not originating in the ear lobes but in our brain cortex.

I get it on occasion too, sometimes with the pressure, sometimes without. Nothing mystical about it, I'm afraid, simply tinnitis, in my case as a result of being too close to a large-bore rifle when it discharged well over a decade ago.

i am not sure what the tone is but I do sense pressure just outside my right ear or the right side of my head as if something wants to get inside my head.

yeah i think this happens when I am thinking deeply but i can't be certain.

Moviestar, it's not like a 'ping,' rather it's a tone sustained for several seconds. Also, there is no 'pop' of pressure in my ear, like from altitude. Rather it's more a feeling that the pressure around my whole body shifts momentarily.

I don't see how this could ever be studied scientifically because it is entirely random and rare, in my experience. It would be impossible to prove the tones had anything to do with the synchronicity, and, in any case, one can't even prove there is such a thing as synchronicity.

Kind of like nailing jello to the wall.

Statistically it is possible, if the stimuli is recorded and observations are made against known events then the correlation should be at best a 50% chance of accuracy if it was random.But if we got a higher % of hits then depending on how many observations were made and the % of accuracy it could be offered for peer review. 85% or higher would probably not fail to arouse interest.

I've heard those tones too and there's never been any rhyme or reason to when they appear or not. Usually high-pitched and only in one ear - last maybe 10 seconds/

Maybe I should start noting when I hear them and any events that occur afterwards. I haven't really noticed any synchonicities happening.

My story with two mysterious sounds:
A few days ago, I was really conscious and present. As I went to bed I wasn't that present but I suddenly heard a sound in my left ear. It was vibrating and relatively high, a few times i heard the sound in the middle of my face, then in the direction of my right ear, and then it bounced back. It sounded a bit like a midge caught in my ear, but I didn't feel anything inside of it. A few minutes later I heard a second sound, vibrating and still higher and it seemed to come from above, like from the ceiling. The sounds lasted always some seconds, went away, started again, there was no rule and they were not fading. When I began to day-dream it began slowly to disappear. I've never heard such a tone, at this day there was nothing perticular loud, and I haven't heard it since then. I wonder what it could have been!

I'm new to this site. I found it because I was searching for info on the web about hearing tones and I came across your discussion about synchronicity. I live on the East Coast and I love the ocean, love to cook. I'm Italian and both my parents were awesome cooks so I learned from them and have my own talent for it also. I am a people person. I like learning and trying new things and hearing about other people's experiences.

What I was looking for an explanation for is why I sometimes hear tones in my head when I am sleeping and it wakes me up out of a deep sleep. It happened to me this morning, it was three short consecutive tones. Sometimes I only hear one. Sometimes it sounds like the little ding noise when a timer goes off, just one quick little sound. Maybe they aren't really tones but more specifically certain sounds. I dont hear them in my ears while awake at all, only while sleeping. Has anyone else ever heard of such a thing?

I also have those hear tones happening a lot lately now and I do agree with FelineNostalgia (nice name by the way ^_^ ). I have read that it can be linked with angels trying to get your attention.

And lol about the ear wax It could also be a medical issue as well which kind of concerned me personally, but I notice it happens coincidentally at times so I agree with you pinklady that it could very well be more to it.

I will be willing to share some stories
When I was doing my tarot on a certain question and I read the final answer, my ear started to ring. I nodded knowing that I am on the right path. I then made a pact with my spirit guides/angels to ring my ears to let me know if I am on the right track.

So one night I was with this guy and I was hesitant in kissing him as it was our third date. As I was thinking this, I heard the ring so I was like okay. LOL And I kissed him. It turned out that he did wanted to kiss me too and it worked out.

Another time was with my tarot and reading the cards, My ear rang to let me know I was reading the cards correctly.

Another time was the spookiest of them all. I was writing about sychroncities here at this forum about the messages my spirit guides were sending me. I was doubting the messages, but after realizing that the messages were real, I turned to my guides and thanked them and said that I believe in the message they were giving me. At that moment, I looked down at the clock (I don't know why, but I had an urge) and saw it was 1:11 and then at the moment, my ear started ringing. I knew I was on the right track *happy*
