Palm readings

I was wondering about this for awhile and wanted to know what are some of your opinions on palm readings. Are they actually a finger print of how your life is supposed to be? And if it is... why does it have to be on our palms and not someplace else (like our soles, pun not intended). I understand it is fairly easy to stray away from our original paths and experiences so palm readings can't be precise down to a science, but is it generally true?

I am interested in palm reading too. I do not know if they are true because I looked at my brother's palm and mine was similar. I think the prints on palms may be genetic. But, our palm lines were also varied a little.

I used to go to Miss Marie on the Asbury Park boardwalk. The same one Bruce Springsteen talks about in his Asbury album. She read my palm with her beautiful runny eyes. She was quite old. She told me I would have two husbands (very right) and how many children. She also told me I had a long life ahead of me. What fascinated me the most was she talked about a sapphire ring I would receive. I don't usually wear good jewelry-just costume jewelry. Well I did get a sapphire ring from a beau. I believe in them. I have never found a good palm reader after Miss Marie.

ooo thanks for sharing... I have only been told that I would live long and be prosperous... which is something I can't confirm until probably I leave this world. I haven't been given any solid information like you have to confirm that palm readings have some truth to it. I know this field has been bombarded by false 'profits' so it's hard to discern whether this profession still has some credibility.
