Default Loving the beginning and end of a job you do?

I am the middle-girl, I love to do things when I actually start doing them, and hate to end them when they are near end. I love to drag things out in time and put things on the future.

This is things I do can do.
I can do house-work for myself.
I can read a fiction-book and end it.
And I can go to a meeting and talk about things and stuff.

And this is the thing I want to get a few helping hands with.
How to love the beginning of work.
How to keep things done before deadline.
How to not fall off and put things on the future.

If I could get some help with this I would be most happy and maybe even as a bonus get to love scedules...

Love Leelene

I have the opposite problem. Maybe we can help each other out.

I love starting a project, as it is new and exciting. I love finishing a project, because there is a light at the end of the tunnel. The middle is where I get stuck, when it's not new anymore, and there seems to be no end to the work. I've been told I need to appreciate the journey through the middle, but I've had problems with that. All I really care about is results and the bottom line.

Perhaps making the project more challenging would help stimulate you more during that project? That works for me.

Haven't had a real long tryout of the 30 Days trials yet, but it seems like a good way of at least start to like the progress of a structural day, without the stress of feeling you have to change the whole life arround like inventing the wheel again or build a new rome in one day. Which feels mostly like a bad idea, when you think about it. To make everything change at the same time is like turning the biggest tank-boat arround in a narrow harbour in just a few seconds.

I try it out right now, to take it slowly and liking the slow progress. Even if it is not 100% soving of my problems, beacuse you can change a habit arround this way, but maybe not the loving of start and end of a project...
