"Success is 90% starting and 10% not stopping" --A. D. KESSLER You know from experience that declaring your goals on an ongoing basis is a solid way to increase the chance of them getting done. So I encourage everyone reading this to do it! It's simple:
I'll kick things off: ==================================== PERSONAL - Do Cardio Routine - Take care of items 1-6 on my 'family' list BUSINESS - Contact copywriter(s) and source quotes (30m) - Contact potential investor TMA and scope out time (30m) - Build out offer letter - 1st draft (120m) - Take care of items 1-3 on my 'business' list PROFESSIONAL - Research test automation software packages - Set up lab servers 1 and 2 - Begin search for new hire - Take care of items 1-3 on my 'professional list' ==================================== What are you committed to accomplishing today? - Dave |

My goals for today are (vaguely) (some of these are already done or partially done but I was planning to do them when I got up, so I'll post them): -Practice piano for three hours (two down) -Work out (done) -Do at least five hours of solid work (including other items.) -Make a written statement of my most important current goals. -Set up an organizational system and beginning building a curriculum for "school." -Finish the preliminary drawing exercises in "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" and do the first exercise. -Do at least one thing that scares me (done) I may not get to all of these but this is the plan. This is a great idea for a thread! Last edited by Brutha; 07-05-2007 at 10:35 PM. Reason: Merged two posts by Aiden |

| Aidan - Use this frame of mind through the day ... "What if I was drop-dead committed to making *some* progress on *all* of these things, no matter what?" Frame it that way, and see how much more you get done :-) - Dave |
