Regarding the Shakespeare quote, I agree with it. But for it to make sense for a slave, I think we need to understand it on a deeper level. The key here in my opinion is to accept what already exists. If you are a slave there is little help in cursing and resisting the current situation. If you happen to be a slave, my advice would be to accept what already is, you can still look for ways to get out of the situation. Metaphorically speaking, if you are already stuck in a pile of mud, instead of cursing and resisting the fact that you are stuck, either accept the situation or do you best ot change it. Making the sitation into a problem or making it a bad or good situation doesn't help much. I hope you understand my point

Hey Ellie that's very interesting. To see what you wanted and now that you have what you wanted! It's interesting how you have progressed. It just goes to show that your experience in the emotion of "I'VE HAD ENOUGH" can be life changing. In your case it was "I've had enough of working for someone else!" |

I have always liked that victor frankl quote but victor frankl himself stated that what got him through his life in the concentration camp was knowing that life was asking something from him and that was for him to live so he could write his books esp his speciality -logotherapy
